Hangnyin is a minor villain of the anime/manga series Tatakae!! Ramenman, the Kinnikuman spin-off series.

Biography

Hangnyin is the son of Bai-long and a member of the Bai-long Army. Due to Bai-long being sealed away for so long till the events of Tatakae!! Ramenman, it is unknown when exactly when Bai-long adopted Hangnyin.

After Bai-long received a brutal injury to his shoulder from Victory Ramenman, he swears to kill him. In order to do so, he needed to learn the exact quality of Ramenman's fist and would send Hangnyin out to learn from Ramenman himself.

At first, Hangnyin would use some bandits in order to see first hand Ramenman defeat a group of bandits. Once the fight was over, Hangnyin went to clean the blood off of Ramenman, trying to clean his fist but Ramenman refused to let him do so.

In an attempt to touch Ramenman's fist, Hangnyin would pretend to want to be Ramenman's student and would follow him around, trying to touch his fist whenever possible including during Ramenman's sleep, however, Hangnyin was batted aside by Ramenman in his sleep.

Getting desperate, Hangnyin would set the building the Ramenman was in on fire before going inside. After Ramenman got everyone out safely, he would rush in to save Hangnyin, using his legs to grab and throw him out of the burning building. Once he was safe, Ramenman would punch Hangnyin's cheek for not putting out the fire and causing the building to burn down and as such, he would ban Hangnyin from being his student.

Hangnyin would run back to his father and would use the imprint of Ramenman's fist to help Bai-long develop a special gauntlet to use in his battle against Ramenman. After many failed attempts, Bai-long would eventually create a gauntlet that was identical to Ramenman's fist, however, Hangnyin was getting some doubts and tried to convince his father not to use it in his fight against Ramenman but Bai-long hits him aside.

To lure Ramenman out to face Bai-long, he would have Hangnyin pretend to be kidnapped by him so Ramenman would rush to save him. Once he arrived, Bai-long would explain that Hangnyin was his son and that he now had a gauntlet that was as strong as Ramenman's fist. Ramenman in turn would explain that he hit Hangnyin so that he would learn his lesson and grow into a responsible person, making Hangnyin feel guilty for betraying Ramenman's trust.

In the end, Ramenman would destroy the gauntlet and Bai-long's forearm but spared him for Hangnyin's sake.
