Season Four[]
Hanison worked in a Metropolis warehouse as a fence specializing in shady deals of stolen goods. Bart Allen, a street urchin often dealt with Hanison although he often cheated Bart out of the stolen goods' true value. Bart attempted to sell stolen personal items in Suicide Slums, but Hanison was unwilling to give him a fair deal. When Hanison was momentarily distracted, Bart used his super speed to steal the goods and the money, putting himself on Hanison's radar.
Later, Bart stole a Fourteenth Century manuscript with Kryptonian symbols drawn along the border from Lex Luthor's mansion. Lex wasn't worried though however, because he knew all the fences in the area and figured he'll find it when the thief (Bart) tried to sell it. When Bart tried to sell the manuscript to Hanison, the fence knocked him out before Lex arrived. Lex realized the thief was just a kid and told Hanison to let Bart go, but Hanison disagreed calling him a freak and knocked Bart out and his goons took out Lex.
Before they could kill them both, Clark arrived on the scene and saved Bart and Lex. Clark threw Hanison through the roof and he landed outside unconscious. Bart, however, turned against Clark and used a meteor rock to weaken him. Clark pleads with Bart to do the right thing, but Bart doesn't listen and super speeds away. Having a change of heart, Bart returned and closed the lead box with the meteorite so Clark could recover. The police arrived but Clark super-speeds away while Hanison and his goons were arrested and Lex woke up not witnessing what occurred.
Notes[]
- Hanison is similar to Fagin from Oliver Twist.
