Hard Hat is the third boss of Donkey Kong Land. it works under King K. Rool's command.
Biography[]
As the third boss of Donkey Kong Land, Hard Hat will traverse through his holes then pop out of one, where he tosses his hat towards Donkey and Diddy Kong they have to jump to avoid his hat and land on Hard Hat's head considering he no longer has protection there, repeat the whack-a-mole style process and Hard Hat will be defeated and explode and drop three banana bunch's like the rest of the bosses.
Appearance[]
Unlike Wild Sting and Giant Calm Hard Hat has a completely original design and is not a reused enemy or enemy sprite. Hard Hat is a brown chubby mole with a long nose and a yellow Miner helmet, Hard Hat's hands and snout are both pink.
Trivia[]
- Hard Hat was originally planned to be an animal buddy in Donkey Kong Country but the idea was removed.
- Hard Hat had made a minor appearance in the Mario manga, Super Mario-Kun volume 15.
