When Harry was young he used to get into trouble all the time and his dad forced Harry to chop down trees as his punishment. Harry's brothers and sisters always made fun of him for this. By the time Harry grew older, not a single tree stood a foot near Harry's house. Harry then went psychotic and he bludgeoned, hacked and killed his brothers and sisters, giving him the nickname "Hatchet" and making his wanted poster description being robbery and "chopping things he shouldn't". "Hatchet" Schultz then joined the Pedrosa Brothers and became a train robber along with Hoss, Smiley Fawler, Juan Sanchez, Roberto Pedrosa and Rico Pedrosa.

In the mission "Railroaded" Schultz is a the main henchman and only appears in the last section of the mission, jumping off a horse on the train with twin revolvers. Otherwise, he might be ridding behind the train or jumping in front of the engineer to kill him.

Trivia[]
He is very similar in appearance to Juan Sanchez, but Harry is clearly taller and wears different type of clothing, like a different hat plus his clothes have blood stains on them.
He is wanted for 100 dollars.
Him and Juan both have nicknames, with Juan's being "Loco" and his being "Hatchet". Meanwhile, Smiley Fawler's real name is never revealed.
Despite this he never uses a hatchet as a weapon in the game.
Him and Captain Bufias are the only characters that have wanted posters but are not playable in the Showdown mode.
