Haruki is the main antagonist in the tragic manga Yuri Hell. while she starts out as a good person and was friendly to akiko to the point they started a "relationship", but it soon is reveal that she is a homophobic brat who ruined akiko's life so she can be with a guy from another school she likes.

she is first seen pulling a prank on akiko in class where she is described as a popular and cheerful girl as she is the center of attention who can easily make friends with others with just a smile, during lunch they talk about how haruki is like a tomboy and how haruki is calling anyone to go out with her which akiko accepted it leads to them going on dates, later haruki made a promise to akiko that she will always be there for her and that she loves her, in the next day on the train station she sees haruki talking to a boy from another school in which akiko grow suspicious about and fears of haruki dumping her for him, haruki later would ask akiko to go on a date with her, during their date they decided to kiss, but her villainous side shows at the end of the story when you begins to create a rumor that akiko raped her despite being not true which led to the class turning on akiko, she told akiko that the whole thing was a joke and started a homophobic rant about how girls can't fall in love with other girls, not only she broke her heart by saying the whole thing was a lie but she made a rumor about akiko raping her thus ruining akiko's life.
