Haruta Shigemo is a supporting antagonist in the manga/anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a curse user who enjoys picking on the weak and is allied with Kenjaku and his group.
He was voiced by Wataru Hatano (who also voiced Hantengu in Demon Slayer) in Japanese and by Chris Hackney in English. Hackney.
Appearance[]
Haruta appears to be a androgynous-looking young man of average height with long blond hair tied in a ponytail one the left side of his head. He has three triangle marks tatoo under each of his eyes. He usually is basically shirtless and wears a dark cloth that covers half of his body, he wears a pair of black shoes and wields a sword on his shoulder.
Personality[]
Shigemo is shown to be a ruthless sorcerer who loves assaulting those who are weaker than him. He has an intelligent mind, but choses to show his childish and psychopathic behaviour. While being overpowered by Shigemo, Nobara asks him what he wants and Shigemo answers that the answer doesn't matter as long he's having fun. He will show some pleasures and joy just before killing them. And similar to most curse users, he loves seeing other people in pain. He is also a coward, as he admit without concealment that he wants to fight opponents weakers than him rather than stronger ones.
Abilities[]
- Skilled Fighter: Shigemo is a considerely powerful jujutsu sorcerer, despite his cowardless at wanting to fight weaker opponents. Because of that Uraume recruted him to help Kenjaku to seal Satoru Gojo. He could overpower Nobara with his intelligences while also attacking Nitta and he was able to dodge her attacks rather easily and chasing the manager at the same. Neverthless Shigemo's combat and strength are nothing compared to a Sorcerer as talented as Kento Nanami, a grade 1 sorcerer, who beated him easily. Nanami's defence was so great that according Shigemo he felt like he kicked stone wall while as he kicked him.
- Miracles: Shigemo isn't actually sure how his own technique works, as he depends on his cursed weapon in fights. His techniques allows him to erases little miracles, and that includes seeing a clock of the same digits across spaces. - Hand Sword: Shigemo uses a small dagger with a human-like hand as its grip, it was made by Juzo Kumiya and given to Shigemo. He can throw the sword and the weapon has the ability to move on its own. In addition can detect within the sword's region even anyone that is outside of his own distinctive view.
