~ Hasina's cockiness over Garrett's investigation |
Little is known about Hasina and her background. She ran her ring in the slums of Mumbai, in a neighborhood, Dharavi, nicknamed "Kidneyville". She would prey on Dalits, the poorest class of the city, by using their destitution to raid their bodies for organs to illegally sell for transplant. Her gang also infiltratsd hospitals, where remains of descendents were similarly desecrated by harvesting their organs. Hasina made the mistake of targeting Samraj Sabah's father Mahal, stealing his heart, kidney, and corneas at Mahir Care after her gang malnourished him to death. Samraj wanted a proper burial for Mahal, but his dissected body left him unprepared for an honorary funerary proceeding. Samraj sould target tourists across Mumbai to tear their organs out, ditch them in the slums, and worst case, leaving them to die, placing the organs in Mahal's remains.
Hasina was questioned, her bodyguard attempting to act as the boss, but when Agent Jack Garrett saw through it, she revealed herself and asked to be alone with him. She denied she was a criminal, as well as being behind the attacks. However, she wanted to work with the International Reaponse Team to catch Samraj for working on her turf, which Garrett refused knowing her ways. The team soon realizes Samraj's motives returning as a group to Hasina, knowing she was behind Mahal's harvesting. Garrett politely asked her the name of Mahal's family, and she gave up Samraj as the unsub. Samraj's intended captive victim was rescued, and Samraj killdd himself in a fire to escape prosecution and cremate Mahal at the same time. Hasina was never sought after for her related crimes.
