The Haven Troopers, also known as FROGS, are an all-female military unit in the videogame Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. They are soldiers under the loyalty of Liquid Ocelot.
History[]
These armored all female soldiers were deployed by Liquid Ocelot in 2014 to stop Solid Snake and Rat Patrol 01, but were unsuccessful despite their inhuman agility and amazing military skills.
The next encounter with Snake was in South America, as the FROGS attempted to secure an office with the soldier in it, but was unsuccessful yet again and had to be backed up by Beauty and the Beast operative Laughing Octopus. Another unit tried to halt an escaping Solid Snake and Big Mama in an Eastern Europe town and yet another unit assisted Crying Wolf side by side in Shadow Moses, attempting to locate and assassinate Snake in a snowy and arctic wasteland.
The final unit of FROGS were sent to fend off the United States military, Solid Snake, Meryl Silverburgh, and Johnny Sasaki on Outer Haven. During the final moments of Liquid's Insurrection, GW shut off, making the nanomachines in the FROGS shutdown and both physically and mentally shatter them. The remaining FROGS, who were either insane or in catatonia, were rescued by the marines.
