Hawkmouth is a minor antagonist in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic and its English adaptation Super Mario Bros. 2.
Appearance[]
Hawkmouth resembles the head of a black hawk in Super Mario Bros. 2', while in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, it resembles a regular mask. It is a Boss battle in those two games.
Biography[]
When animated, the Hawkmouth's only attack is swooping towards the player in an attempt to harm them. However, it is unable to do it unless if the crystal is picked up. Usually, it doesn't do this.
To defeat it, you need mushroom blocks. It is useful to grab them from the three pillars, and throw them nearby the crystal's altar.
