The Headless Horseman is a minor character in DreamWorks' 8th full-length animated feature film Shrek 2, and a supporting antagonist in DreamWorks' 14th full-length animated feature film Shrek the Third.
He was voiced by Conrad Vernon, who also voiced Rumpelstiltskin in the same movie, Raoul in Puss in Boots and Eugene Francis in The Boss Baby.
Biography[]
Shrek 2[]
The Headless Horseman has a very small role in the second film in the Shrek franchise; he is seen in The Poison Apple drinking a beer. In a later scene it appears that some cavalrymen are testing him to see if he is sober, as Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots overtake him after escaping the Fairy Godmother.
Shrek the Third[]
The Headless Horssesman has a much bigger role in the third film, as he joins the gang of fairytale villains to help Prince Charming conquer Far Far Away. He is seen with Captain Hook commeting various crimes.
At the end of the movie when it's time for Charming to kill Shrek in front of the whole kingdom, his friends intervene, but then the bad guys attack them. Artie, Fiona's cousin, talks to the bad guys, and they refuse to continue to commit crimes. Touched, the Headless Horseman reveals that he has always wanted to play the flute.
He is last seen celebrating with everyone else after Charming's defeat.
Thriller Night[]
The Headless Horseman appears in Shrek's nightmare as a zombie.
