| ~ Heather Hills' villainous breakdown once Rodrick accidentally knocks over an ice sculpture. |
Heather Hills is the main antagonist of the 2012 film Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days based on the 2009 novel.
While not a villain in the book series, she is given an antagonistic role in the Dog Days film, where she tries to attack Rodrick with a microphone stand when he accidentally knocked over an ice sculpture. She was described to be a female version of Rodrick, but unlike him, Heather does not have any redeeming qualities. She is the older sister of Holly Hills, who she sometimes harasses as claimed by her in Rodrick Rules.
In the films, she is portrayed by Melissa Roxburgh.
Biography[]
In Rodrick Rules, she is described by Holly Hills as a female version of Rodrick due to them both harassing their younger siblings yet rarely getting in trouble for it.
In Dog Days, when Holly is signing Greg's yearbook, Heather interrupts her and tells her to get in the car as she doesn't care what she is doing. Rodrick tries flirting with her, but she drives away and runs over his foot in the process. She is shown at the country club as a lifeguard, but was not doing her job as she was using her phone and ignoring Rodrick while he was in the pool, causing a man to jump in and give a disgusted Rodrick mouth-to-mouth. Heather threatens to leave Holly behind at the country club if she does not do what she says.
She is last seen at her sweet 16 party. Rodrick goes to the front and sings of cover of "Baby" by Justin Bieber but accidentally knocks over an ice sculpture, angering and infuriating Heather as she threatens to kill Rodrick when trying to attack him with a microphone stand, but he ducks and Heather hits a chocolate fountain that sprays all over her and Madison. All the guests leave the party after seeing Heather's outburst. Greg apologizes to Holly, but she says she is happy and thought Heather fairly deserved it.
Personality[]
While not truly evil, Heather doesn't seem to have any redeeming qualities. She is shown to be incredibly arrogant, obnoxious, apathetic, and uncaring. She cares about nothing or anyone but herself, not even her own family members, showing no remorse or regret for her actions and sees herself above all others. She also loses her temper easily, trying to attack Rodrick for a microphone stand for ruining her sweet 16 but missed, thus ruining her own party.

Trivia[]
- She is completely different from her book counterpart, as her book version is a neutral character who was hired as Rowley's babysitter unlike in the film.
- She serves as a dark reflection and foil to Rodrick as both are older siblings who harass their younger siblings. While Rodrick is nicer than his book counterpart and learned how to bond with his brothers kindly and became appreciative and touched by Greg's acts of forgiveness and kindness, Heather is meaner than her book counterpart, doesn't change her attitude, and has little to no redeeming qualities.
