Heatseeker is a minor antagonist in the third season of the 2015 Transformers: Robots in Disguise cartoon, part of the Transformers Prime continuity. He is one of the Stunticons.
He was voiced by Mike Kelley, who also voiced Bill McLemore in Scooby-Doo and the Cyber-Chase, Nick Connor in Static Shock and Alastor in the Viewtiful Joe computer games.
History[]
Heatseeker debuted in the two-parter third season opener "King of the Hill", in which he had been sent to claim a valley for the Stunticons. After attacking human vehicles, he was confronted by Sideswipe and Strongarm but his heat-seeking missiles caused them many problems, as did the fact he had set up base near a nuclear waste dump which the battle threatened to detonate. With the arrival of Bumblebee, Drift and Grimlock, Heatseeker was eventually forced to retreat but did manage to get hold of a Cybertronian technology detector which he presented to his leader Motormaster.
Heatseeker continued to appear alongside the other Stunticons throughout the first half of the season, including joining the other Stunticon cars in competing in a race with the aim of becoming king of the road. The Stunticons eventually developed the ability to combine into Menasor.
In their last episode, "Moon Breaker", Heatseeker and the other Stunticons followed the Autobots to the moon where they had located a cache of stolen technology. The Stunticons combined into Menasor but were defeated by the Autobots when they combined into Ultra Bee. Heatseeker was placed in a stasis pod and was among the Decepticons taken back to Cybertron by Optimus Prime as a prisoner.
