The Heavenly Principles, also known as the Primordial One and the First Descender, is the overarching antagonist (alongside The Abyss) of the 2020 action role-playing fantasy video game Genshin Impact.
The Heavenly Principles was the progenitor god allegedly responsible for the creation of humanity, who ruled over the world of Teyvat from its throne on the floating island of Celestia. Originating from beyond the world, the Primordial One usurped control of Teyvat from dragonkind and established an order ruled over by the gods. It exerted tyrannical control over the land, punishing all who dared to oppose its laws and even exercising its authority over gods.
Described as the "Winged One," the First Descender possibly possessed wings.
