Heidegger is a major antagonist in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, whose most prominent role is in Final Fantasy VII Remake as the secondary antagonist. He is the corrupt head of Shinra Inc.'s Public Safety, overseeing the development of their military forces.

In English, he is voiced by John DiMaggio who voiced The Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood, Bender Bending Rodríguez in Futurama, General Grievous in Star Wars: Clone Wars, Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible, Uka Uka from Crash Bandicoot, Joseph Walters from Tom and Jerry: The Fast and the Furry, Brother Blood in Teen Titans as well as his Teen Titans Go counterparts and Fung in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness. In Japanese, he is voiced by Katsumi Cho.

Biography[]

Heidegger's role in Shinra Inc. he is the head of Public Security Forces. He has control over the company soldiers and command them around. Much like with the other Executives Heidegger is very cruel to his own soldiers. Although he does it the worst as Heidegger actually assaults them and threatens them on multiple occasions.

Heidegger would serve as the right hand man for both President Shinra and later his son Rufus Shinra. Often time Heidegger would be very annoyed with Rufus command over the company compared to when his father was in charge. Which can lead to Heidegger throwing some temper tantrums and vent his anger out on his own men and some other locals who happened to be near by.
