Hel is the main antagonist of Fire Emblem Heroes's third story arc.
Appearance[]
Hel resembles a pale skinned woman with long white hair. From beneath her mouth, she has a visible skeleton. She wears a black coat over a white dress and black slippers with high heels.
Powers and Abilities[]
Hel's primary weapon consists of a scythe. She also has the Luna, Distant Counter, Guard Bearing, and Inevitable Death abilities.
Biography[]
Twenty years prior to Book III of the game, Gustave fought with Hel getting scarred in the process leading to his realization that Death should not be measured on a scale of who's strong and whose weak, it's that Death comes for all living things and Hel is death itself, Gustav was only lucky to have survived it.
Xenologue 4[]
After Surtr's defeat, he is greeted by a mysterious figure, Hel who brings him to the realm of the dead she lords over and welcomed those "unworthy of a greater reward" and tells Surtr that his power is now hers and tells him to resign himself to his fate as he cannot fight death.
Surtr, though was frustrated with her, realizes he cannot really overpower her and tells her that the summoner and their friends might defeat her. Hel tells him to let go of the fantasy and his killers will become the killed soon which she plans as her next task.
Book III[]
Chapter 1[]
Eir is introduced talking with her supposed mother Hel who promises to do what she would can to help her no matter small, but Hel does not see her as strong enough to help as she will have no chance of winning in the upcoming battle and if she would die then she will die.
She then orders Eir to join the Askran army and slaughter slaughter it at her command, uncaring if she does not like it.
Chapter 3[]
Long after Gustave makes his son Alfonse promise not to fight or even get close to Hel, her sudden arrival thanks to Eir prevents him from holding the promise his father made him. When she is seemingly defeated, she shows up alive and casts a curse on Alfonse that will kill him in nine days.
