The Henchfrogs are supporting antagonists of DreamWorks' thirteenth full-length animated feature film Flushed Away. They are Le Frog's henchmen.

They were all voiced by David Bowers. However, there is only one henchfrog who is listed in the credits, making it somewhat debatable if he voiced them all or not.

Biography[]

Just like their leader, the henchfrogs speak French, and they all look just like their boss, Le Frog. However, they have no mustaches at all, and their heads are pretty straight and regular, while Le Frog has a mustache and a dull and large head.

The henchfrogs were first seen when Le Frog called out to them and told them that they have a mission to find the master cable. They were seen again when one of the henchfrogs was playing the accordion, causing Le Frog to angrily hit him.

They were seen again when they, along with their leader, arrived on Rita's boat called the Jammy Dodger. As Marcel the Mime Frog appears when he had a cellphone where the Toad could see and speak through, Marcel knocked one of the henchfrogs into the water.

The henchfrogs and mime frog got distracted by a fly, leading them to be smacked with each others' tongues.

They were defeated by Roddy making them get trapped in ice. However, they appear towards the end of the film where they were dancing with the Mime Frog while Le Frog stood with an annoyed look.

There were seven henchfrogs. However, there was one henchfrog that got killed by Marcel the Mime Frog (with the Toad on the phone) pushing him into the water causing him to drown off-screen. There are currently five henchfrogs as shown towards the end of the film. Because of that, it is unknown what happened to the sixth henchfrog as he might have died while getting trapped in ice with the other henchfrogs.

Trivia[]

  • The henchfrogs are famous for surrendering as a first move to act. This is a joke in reference to how the French quickly surrendered to Nazi Germany during World War II.
