Henry Christensen is the secondary antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Quickie". He is the obsessive ex-boyfriend of Anna McWilliams who murders her after finding out she is hooking up with men online.
He was portrayed by Brady Corbet, who also portrayed Peter in the 2007 remake of Funny Games.
Biography[]
Henry dated Anna McWilliams since the seventh grade. They were together for six years before Anna broke up with him while processing her grief at her mother's death and began hooking up with another boy every week. Henry refused to accept this and continued to act like they were dating.
Four months after they broke up, Henry messaged Anna on his birthday to get her to meet up with him, enticing her by hiring a paparazzi company to take photos of her at the club for her blog on "NY Party Girls". After they hit several clubs, Anna got a notification from Peter Butler, a man she met online, and left to hook up with him. Henry followed her and saw them having sex; after Peter was gone, he confronted Anna, who told him she didn't love him and demanded he stop harassing her. Enraged, Henry choked her, bashed her with a rock and left her to die.
"Quickie"[]
Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson of the Manhattan Special Victims Unit, investigating Anna's murder, go to interview Henry about his recent breakup with Anna, finding him at Anna's memorial arguing with several of his classmates who Anna hooked up with. Henry claims he last saw Anna in class, but Stabler arrests him after CSU find texts showing that Henry had arranged to meet up with Anna the night she was murdered. Henry admits he lied and tells the detectives that Anna left him to hook up with someone on AnonymousQuickie.com, pointing them towards Butler.
The SVU briefly suspect Peter Butler of the crime, but medical examiner Melinda Warner manages to recover a latent thumbprint from Anna's trachea which proves not to be a match. Warner observes that the fingerprint likely belongs to someone who is young or hasn't worked a day in his life - a description which Stabler realizes fits Henry.
Benson and Stabler go to Henry's apartment to get his fingerprints, arresting him after he tries to escape by hiding in the closet. He is then fingerprinted, and his print is matched to the one on Anna's throat. Confronted with this evidence, Henry makes a full confession to the crime and is charged with Anna's murder.
