Henry Tudor AKA Henry VII, was the overarching antagonist of The Black Adder, the first series of the Blackadder franchise. He is based on the English Monarch of the same name. His first and only appearance was in the first episode: "The Foretelling". He was also paternal grandfather of Queen Eliziabeth I. He took over the Kingdom after the death of Richard IV and erased him from history.
He was portrayed by the late Peter Benson.
Biography[]
Henry Tudor fought at the Battle of Bosworth Field in the war of the roses against Richard III. In the battle he was badly injured and came across Blackadder, Baldrick and Percy in a cottage and he begs them not to leave say he would give them money. Later he turned up in Edmund's bed as Percy had taken him there. Later Henry and Edmund began to think they had seen each other before but by the time that Edmund knew who the man was Henry was making his escape. after the events of "The Black Seal", Henry took the crown for himself and became king.

He is a manipulative man who will do what he can to survive.
