Herb Nixon is a minor antagonist in FX crime drama Snowfall and a "supporting" antagonist in the Franklin Saint story arc.
Herb Nixon is a presumptuous, lying, petty and easily irascible corrupt policeman with a hotheaded and arrogant character and occasionally even displays of racism.
He is portrayed by Jesse Luken.

Herb Nixon is a policeman who often appears helping André Wright in the early seasons apparently following a just cause however after André's death from a suicide which was actually a murder caused by Franklin Saint, Herb will approach Franklin to force him to let him into his book pay.
After becoming Franklin's paid cop, he started helping him in various things such as helping to put a spanner in the works of Franklin Saint's rival, Skully. However, after discovering that Franklin had left out some details, Hern became quite angry when he went to Saint's father who was in his home for the poor and drug addicts. After arguing with Franklin's father, Herb's superior named Irene Abe interrupts him before anything serious could happen. After Franklin found out about what happened, he opted to bribe a certain Devis, a man close to the mayor, effectively getting rid of Herb Nixon who will probably be either demoted or fired in the future or even arrested for his crimes.
