Hermann Wilhelm Göring was a powerful political figure on the Nazi Party, who worked as a WWI fighter pilot and later a German government minister, who worked for Adolf Hitler. Like Hitler, Hermann was a bigoted anti-Semite who supported The Holocaust and was indirectly responsible for the deaths of over six million Jews and many other WWII allies.

A fictionalized version of him appeared in the Popeye the Sailor Man cartoon, "Seein' Red, White, and Blue".

Biography

In "Seein' Red, White, and Blue", Popeye launched a giant fist across the world and it ended up in Germany. In Germany, Hitler was making a speech to The Nazi Party. Popeye's giant fist came up to him and punched him in the face, knocking his mustache off and knocking Hitler out cold and presumably dead.

Worried for his well-being, Hermann Göring rushed up to Hitler and picked up his body and begged Hitler to speak to him, hoping that he was still alive. Hitler got up from his state of unconsciousness and quoted "B.O." in a weird didgeridoo sounding voice and then passed out on the ground, while Hermann pulled his face away in disgust, presumably from smelling the supposed "B.O." that Hitler was talking about.
