Herrscher of the Void, also known as Queen of the Void, Second Ruler of the New World and formerly known as Sirin is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Otto Apocalypse and Honkai God) of the popular 2018-2019 Chinese iOS/Android game Honkai Impact 3. She serves as the successor of God Kiana, the main antagonist of Guns Girl Z - Mirage Cabin and the creator of Honkai Impact 3 universe. She is introduced as the overarching antagonist in the first 4 Chapters, a posthumorous antagonist in all webcomics, comics and books, the main antagonist of Chapter 5-9 and to the prequel manga Honkai Impact 3rd - 2nd Lawman.
Sirin was once an poor orphan girl who used to be one of the test subjects of Schicksal's Babylon Tower's research department, where she was daily tortured with drugs and brutal human experiments. Once she awakened the power of the 2nd Herrscher within her, she immediately went on a rampage and killed all 300 scientists of the facility, including some of other children out of spite and hatred. As the new queen of the Honkai race, she began to hunt down Valkyries and humans alike all across the world, becoming a brutal terrorist with the blood of thousands on her hands until her defeat by the hands of the 2nd Lawman. Later, she made a deal with the Honkai God to gain even more power and used her new powers to destroy multiples continents with debris of the moon, killing a large portion of mankind before starting the 2nd Honkai War. After her first death 18 years ago (2000), she would be later reincarnate in the body of the main heroine in 2018, Kiana Kaslana (K-423), after the latter was fused with parts of her core by Ottoo Apocalypse. Taking over Kiana's body, Herrscher of the Void proceeded to spread destruction and chaos to the entire planet with volcanic activities, causing the near-extinction of mankind before her second defeat by the sacrifice of Murata Himeko.
Sirin is voiced by Sakura Tange in the Japanese version of the game. In her God Kiana's form she is voiced by Shanxin in the Chinese original version and Rie Kugimiya in the Japanese version, whom also voices Agnese Sanctis from Toaru no Majutsu no Index, Nora from Noragami and Melona from Queen's Blade.
A sociopathic entity who is the second Ruler after Welt Joyce, and dominated the power of the void. She became a ruler and started the Second Impact in 2000, at a Schicksal laboratory and has pulled the whole North Siberia into her void realm. Rumours say that she was inhumanely experimented on and tortured by the tests and therefore awakened the ruler consciousness inside of her and took the girl's mind.
Sirin perished together with S-rank Valkyrja Cecilia Schariac and four other A-rank Valkyries (Squad Snow Wolf) in a series of nuclear explosions caused by a rain of missiles from Schicksal. After Sirin's death, her Ruler core has been divided into four parts, they are called the Domination of Thunder, the Crave of Storm, the Silence of Death and the Contamination of Flame. The four different parts are kept separately by Schicksal and Anti-Entropy. Depressed and shattered by his wife's death, Siegfried lost belief in Schicksal.

In the current game era (Honkai Impact 3rd) Otto Apocalypse has created K-423 using Sirin's DNA and techniques that cloned Theresa Apocalypse, his niece. However, this makes Sirin alive within K-423 and possesses a considerable amount of power, which is just as Otto secretly planned. Sirin's power doesn't normally show up, but in some special conditions, her power would burst dealing a large scale of destruction. The mysterious sound in Kiana's (K-423) head is actually Sirin's, but she doesn't have a clue. K-423 is the only Herrscher clone that managed to survive the project. Her DNA was spliced with genes of Kiana Kaslana - the daughter of Siegfried Kaslana and Cecilia Schariac - the two most powerful warriors of Schicksal. The clone was prepared as a physical host for the reawakened Herrscher and help Schicksal control her powers.
After 18 years of hard work, the Herrscher of the Void ascened onto the physical world once again to law wake to humanity.

Sirin watches her friend dying after she was drugged.
Not much is known about her past except she was one of the many victims of Schicksal's Babylon department. In the past, Sirin was naive and innocent, believing that living in the Babylon tower would be a better place to live rather than living as a poor orphan. However, it turns out it was a lie and she was forced to live all days being used as a guinea pig in human experiments.
As a guinea pig, Sirin was defenseless and coward, believing herself to be merely another cattle ready to be discarded. However, she was still able to make friends and enjoy the little time of life she still had. Unlike other children who lost they will to live and hold other people dearly, Sirin had actually love for life and considered all children to be her only family, which is why while other children simply considered the death of guinea pigs to be the most normal thing in the world, Sirin, on the other hand, felt despair and sorrow for losing her family one by one.
These deaths not only her caused her to hold a great hatred towards the scientists of the tower but also developed a power-hungry personality, considering it to be the only thing this world needed to be changed. She stated civilization to be a lie and all humanity to be a facade of human race, considering their goodness to be just a false image of themselves when they are actually heartless to the core. Because of that, she hated to be a human and weak.

After she was reincarnated, she lost most of her old personality. She is now a very cold, callous, and dispassionate figure, and is rather aloof, brooding, and indifferent, willing to harm her comrades in addition to her enemies should they get in her way. She refers to anyone she does not find interesting as "trash", and treats them as expendable. Above all, she was cruel, sadistic, narcissist, self-centred, uncaring and misanthropic to an extreme point where she defines herself to be the Armageddon itself.
Once facing her enemies, she is impassive, and regal, but her aloof exterior hides a seething anger. She displays scathing contempt and resentment towards mankind, evidenced in her hateful speech towards Valkyries and humans.

As stated by many, Herrscher of the Void demonstrates a strange habit when killing victims she is particularly interested in strangle her victims to death so she can feel their lives fading away with her own hands, something she considers to be one of the greatest pleasure she can feel. Whether she is consciously aware of this habit or not is unknown. She also claims she does not believe in human emotions, which she refers to as the "love" and "heart" reasoning that if her eye cannot see them, they do not exist. These words, and much of Herrscher's overall behavior, reflect the concepts of materialism, which connects to her aspect of Emptiness, as evidenced by her name "Herrscher of the Void", a figure devoid of all emotions, humanity, compassion, kindness and goodness.
Her cold demeanor allows her to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and she is not easily surprised or caught off-guard. However, she does not seem to comprehend the trait of fighting against all odds; during her final battle with Himeko, she completely overwhelms the Valkyrie in less than 5 seconds, yet Himeko continues to fight on regardless of this, prompting a visibly frustrated Herrscher to yell about how pointless Himeko continuing to fight after showing a small fraction of her power to attempt to show Himeko "true despair" and destroy her mentally, showing her how hopeless she is in fighting someone who is stronger than her; a Goddess. Herrscher can be very demanding due to her narcissism and egocentric personality as she considers every single being to be her servant or just a plaything for her to psychologically, physically (possibly sexually as well) abuse and torture, and then discards them after they are dead or mentally broken. She is also not above torturing and killing animals, children and infants as well, and is fully capable of committing truly abhorrent and inhumane actions without feeling any shred of remorse or hesitation.

She maintains a cautious and cool demeanor, being always in control of her actions. She also holds herself with decent dignity to keep her image as queen pure from any disgraceful human behavior she had before, making an attempt to destroy her human heart to become a complete monster and superior Goddess to be free from all moral and ethic. Herrscher of the Void was considered by many to be the most evil Herrscher of history as no one ever caused so much damage to the world before.
Her nature far exceeded that of any common evildoer, even Otto at one point stated that she "went beyond normal evil" in the extent of her crimes after she started the Armageddon 18 years later, killing billions and bringing humanity to the brink of extinction. Indeed, Herrscher speedily developed into a power-obsessed megalomaniac of the worst kind and the worst of any known Herrscher in her quest for revenge for everything humand did to her.

She was unable and unwilling to express remorse or empathy for the countless crimes she had committed. This was a stark contrast to Grindelwald, who proved to display genuine remorse for her crimes and even before her fall, pity for those abused for their power and even if only a little, care for her followers, all which Herrscher of the Void completely lacked.
At the same time, due to her excessive evil and brutality, others would deny she was still alive for a sense of self-comfort, until evidence was given to their very eyes. During her lifetime including much of her childhood (mostly after her escape from Babylon tower), she was shown to be highly ruthless, cruel, merciless, and sadistic, showing as little mercy to her followers as she did her enemies and even exposing her victims to intense despair and fear by killing their friends and families before finishing them off in the most cruel ways possible. She felt no desire or need for human companionship or friendship, for her power was the only thing that existed while the concept of good and evil was just a fantasy.
Her thought of everything in terms of power (which she equated to domination through energy). She was somewhat willfully ignorant of people or matters which she considered to have no value of her presence. She was also arrogant to the point that a few words would break her enemies, including using some of her powers would immediately destroy her enemies in a matter of seconds. Once her enemies proved to be alive, she would lose her cool and would start making death threats with anger.
Herrscher of the Void saw mankind as insects, even stating killing one of them (a child) would be like stepping on an ant and even if she killed 30 millions or 100 millions, it would mean nothing as they reproduce like virus. For her the only way to satisfy herself would be killing all human race of the planet and then reviving billions once again to torment and torture just so she can kill them again for her sick and twisted sadism.
Herrscher did not believe in anyone but herself, nor did she value her fellow Honkai servants except to the extent that they were useful to her. She often described her followers as 'friends' because they are not humans, but in no way treated them like an ordinary person does their friends or family. As such, she was not above killing the children she once trusted and whom were her friends during her days as a guinea pig of the Babylon tower, showing that she lost completely every human quality she once had.

More than 50,000 years ago, during the events of Guns GirlZ game, the world came to an end by the Goddess Kiana when the malicious tyrannical Sirin, started a Zombie Apocalypse using the Honkai Energy for her selfish goals.

Back then, humans - thanks to the previous world version of Mei, who was renowned scientist - had many technological breakthroughs such as the creation of the special alloy "Soul Steel" and the weapons derived from it, the study of the Herrscher Cores and their use in creating the Divine Keys, as well as the "Fusion Warriors" project, which created powerful Super Soldiers. When Moonlight Throne began to crash, Kiana decided to stay to enter the smelter and face Sirin with Mei and Bronya but she actually push them away at the last minutes going alone to face Past Sirin. After the crash, Mei and Bronya are found but no sight of Kiana as she stayed in the ship fighting the Past Sirin.
When everyone arrived at Dogma District they found Kiana is confronting Cocolia and then witness Sirin merging herself with Kiana body. Cocolia realised Kiana is Siegfried's daughter and a "lawman body" which can be used to host by Sirin and become a Goddess. Cocolia then began to shake Kiana emotion by telling her father is dead and she was the one who killed him. Sirin then successfully mix with Kiana and becomes "Kiana God", an universal deity and the Goddess of Honkai monsters.
During the final battle, Sirin slaughter all Valkyries of the world, including all heroes of capital ship. With nothing to stop her, Sirin destroys the reality but not before Mei's last sacrifice. Despite their best efforts, they eventually faced extinction by the hand of the final Herrscher, but not before Mei Fling a Light into the Future in form of Stigmata sealed part of her power inside of the moon to seal the evil Goddess. Before she could be sealed, Sirin recreated the world, rewriting the humanity with parallel versions of all people in the previous Earth in order to make her new parallel-self carry on her ambitions and one day finish what she started.

Born in a poor family in Siberia, Sirin spent most of her childhood under the protection of single mother. At some point after her birth, her father disappeared and cut all bonds with Sirin's mother, leaving her to rise Sirin alone with no proper financial support. One day, her mother died of a lethal disease, leaving her alone as an orphan in a institution. When the Schicksal Organization visited the orphanage, they took all orphans to the Babylon Tower to perform lethal human experiments on their bodies to create an Artificial Stigmata to all Valkyries of the world. When questioned about their motives, the answer was the number of invasions and attacks of Honkai creatures increased.
Inside of the tower, Sirin and all others children were deceived by the scientists whom said their parents died from a disease called "Honkai" to encourage them to become obedient guinea pigs and accept their fate to help in the revolution of humanity. They then gave a vaccine known as "Honkai Cure" to all children saying it was the cure of the disease when in fact was a drug of Honkai energy, which caused all children to die in agony.
At one point, Sirin refused to take part in this human experiment and was locked in a cage, where she was drugged and suffered daily internal burns for days. As the weeks passed, more than three of her friends, Agata, Bella and Aurora had died on the process and she asked to give them a proper bury. Once she finished burying her friends, her superior referred to them as trash. Another day, a young girl was tested and forced to receive the same said drug. In intense pain, the young girl asked for Sirin's help, only to die shortly afterwards in her arms. From that day, Sirin gained her ambition for power, discarding all her love and accepting her hatred for all scientists of the tower.
Ascension of the Void

On February, 1st , 2001, Sirin awoke her powers as the Herrscher of the Void after absorbing all the Honkai energy of the drugs and reactor of the tower, becoming the Second Herrscher. The first thing she did was to hack the defensive systems of the tower and lock everyone inside as she sent her astral projections to mutilate, torture and kill all 322 men of the research staff of Schicksai Babylon Tower.
She is then seen chasing two scientists in a long hallway with a sinister smile. When one of the scientists reached a safe room, she cut off the leg of his companion to see him agonize while she went to the safe room to cut his friend in pieces. After killing all scientists, she summoned her stigmata Dragon to devour all survivors, including feeding the dragon with children (guinea pigs) who witnessed her work, fearing they might tell the Valkyries she is the culprit for the massacre.

Hours later, when the Valkyrie Patricia Highsmith and her partner Theresa arrived to investigate what happened to the tower, she was freed from her prison cell with all other children by Theresa whom promised to give them a shelter in an artificial island built by Otto. Instead of leaving with the other children, Sirin sneaked into the Reactor Room to absorb the remnant energy of the reactor to regain the power she lost slaughtering the staff of the tower. However, much to her surprise, Patricia considered her to be suspicious and followed her to the room, where she gently asked for her to surrender. Instead of giving up, Sirin mocked her existence and challenged the veteran Valkyrie in a combat. The battle lasted only for 4 seconds as Sirin summoned her stigmata once again, devouring Patricia and stealing part of her power.
She is later seen seated in a cell, happily laughing for being able take defeating a veteran Valkyrie. When Sirin tried to return to the Reactor to restore her energy, she found Theresa investigating the area with other Valkyries. Hungry for power, Sirin uses her Honkai pet to summon hundreds of Honkai monsters outside of the tower to lure them away while stating she was willing to kill all other children to get more power. Outside of the tower, the A-Ranked Valkyrie Shabu Nicholas and the A-Ranked Valkyrie Salome Lokanaan fought the Honkai monsters to protect the tower and the children.

With all Valkyries away, Sirin starts to absorb the energy of the reactor again until she was informed by her pet that the leader of Anti-Entropy and the First Lawman of the world, Walter Young, had arrived to take her head once he noticed the sudden awakening of a vicious Herrscher.
She then uses her void powers to escape from the tower before the First Lawman can capture her, fleeing 17 km away from the tower using all her energy. When her pet Honkai showed her the region, she discover a metal sphere of Honkai energy. Curious, the naive Sirin entered in the sphere and was forced to see her past self crying over her the death of her mother to finally realize her humanity was keeping herself from going stronger. With determination, Sirin rejects her humanity and vowed to become the monster she always was to get her revenge not only on the organization that took everything from her but also humanity itself.
Hours later, Theresa and her party tracks down Sirin's energy using her Judah stigamata. Once she got close enough, Sirin drags Theresa to the sphere and locks the sphere from outside. There, she showed Theresa all cruelty she suffered to share her misery with her so she could corrupt the kind-hearted Valkyrie into becoming her new servant to help her to kill all humans and destroy civilization as they know it but she failed to do so once Theresa rejected her offer full of hatred. Bored, Sirin banished her from her realm and drops her in the waters of the frozen Lake Baikal to drown to death.

Inside of her realm, Sirin plays with Theresa's stigmata cross to test its powers but the latter returned once again using her connection with Judah cross to enters the forbidden realm. Once she entered in Sirin's realm, she immediately regrets for trying to be good for once and charges at Theresa with murderous intention. Sirin then summons her lance to strike Theresa but the latter used her Judah cross as shield, only be impaled by the same lance after Sirin summoned a portal and sent the lance to her back. Noticing her friends are trying to break into her dimension, Sirin summons Honkai outside to slaughter her friends and states she is going to make Theresa watches every moment as the creature tear apart her party.
However, with the power of the First Lawman Walter, the Honkai creatures are wiped out and her dimension is broken apart, revealing Sirin preparing to kill Theresa inside. She is then confronted by the Lawman, who asked her to come peacefully with him to prevent her power from tearing the world apart. When Siegfried arrived to rescue Theresa, Sirin immediately tried to kill him but was stopped by Walter. On the skies, Walter reveals his identity as a Lawman to convince Sirin to surrender but then the Honkai Pet who revealed itself to be "God" said Walter was a traitor who was gifted with the same powers but turned his back on them. Angry, Sirin attacks Walter, calling him a "traitor" to Honkai race. Using an intense barrier of lances, Sirin puts Walter in danger and mocks him for using useless attacks against her. However, much to her surprise, Walter teleports to her back and prepare to punch her with all his energy, only to be sucked into her dimensional portal and then devoured by her dragon.

After the battle is over, Sirin comforts her dragon saying there are more snacks in the Babylon tower for it to devour, like the Valkyries and children that are still there. Out of nowhere, Walter escapes from the dragon's belly and destroy its jaws to call Sirin for second round. His first move was to summon all military arsenal made by man using the power of the First Lawman. As Sirin curses Walter for using shameless human weapons against her, she is bombed by millions of different types of cannons.
Surrounded by ships, tanks, aircrafts and missiles, Sirin summons thousands of dimensional holes around her and sends all the firepower of the army back to them, destroying all the artificial army of the First Lawman. Seeing a destructive conflict between two Lawman, the scientist Doctor Tesla launched a nuclear missile at their direction to kill both Sirin and Walter (who was prepared for this). Seeing the nuclear missile coming towards her, Sirin tries to summon a dimensional hole to send the missile to another location but failed to do so. In the last moment, she had an idea of using the earth as shield.
Minutes later, she is seen lying on the floor in a complete destroyed crater. With Sirin incapacitated, Walter summons an Artificial Black Hole to send her to another dimension where she will be sealed forever. But before she can be sealed away, Otto Apocalypse, using a clown disguise, shoots down Walter and breaking the spell, allowing Sirin to escape with her dragon while the two men stayed on the ground fighting. In space, Sirin is seen sleeping on the back of her dragon as she heard a voice calling her to the moon to meet "God".

Soul Absorption - By stealing a person's soul Herrscher gains dominance over their souls and very forms, including reviving them as her servants as seen when she revived Aphora, Agata and Bella to serve her.
Extrasensory - Herrscher has senses that are not only sharper than a mortal's, affording her abilities such as perfect accuracy, but she has abilities that they completely lack. In particular she possesses a 'third-eye' which allows her to see things from far, far distances.
Weather Control - The ability to control the weather to an unknown limit.
Hypnosis - She has the ability to control minds, doing so on exclusively with humans. The afflicted human will enter a euphoric and stupor-like states. They will be pliant to all of Herrscher's designs, doing and speaking as she wills.
Flight - She is capable of flight by controlling gravity.
Energy Blast - She can use her own energy and create powerful blasts and waves of energy in the format of bows and arrows.

Superhuman Physicality - She has manifested superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and senses. No parameters or upper limits were established regarding these capabilities.
Teleportation - She uses this often for quick appearances or escapes, and to appear before those she has business with. She can teleport to everywhere, as she is everywhere not nowhere at the same time once she entered in a planet.

Herrscher of the Void is often called "God Kiana" (as she's based on God Kiana of Guns Girl Z) and "Salty Tuna" because she's only available through Expansion Supply and she's very powerful.
Compared with the data in the record, the rebirth of the Ruler appears to be more silent and cold, but it is only because she has not been able to adapt to the new body after she has experienced a long sleep. Sirin's soul has not changed, when she completely controls the dominance of this body, she will once again become the crazy, arrogant Void Ruler.
Kiana Kaslana, Herrscher of the Void's new vessel, has been shown to have noticeable homosexual tendencies. She blatantly shows affection for her fellow Valkyrie, Mei and when her father, Siegfried Kaslana's, lecherous behavior is described by Theresa, she mentions being "jealous" presumably because she also would enjoy similar activities. It's unknown if Herrscher of the Void is attached to some of these traces. At one point, she can be heard saying she is "interest in only girls", which may be a dark counterpart of Kiana's love for girls. While Kiana has homosexual traces for girls, Herrscher of the Void may be saying she has only interest in torturing and killing girls. It's debated if it's in a sexual way or a simply a gender preference.
The KR and Global version of the game lacks the "touch the valkyrie on the home screen" feature, which, among other things, makes the achievement of raising their affection level difficult. The original CN server also loses it after a patch. While the SEA and JP servers still have it, a patch makes touching their chest or groin area not increase the affection level (even if they still react). Also, starting with the release of Herrscher of the Void, any newly released Valkyries will not come with the ability to touch their body.
Herrscher of the Void is the only antagonist of Honkai Impact 3 to have near-success in almost all of her goals, including the near-extinction of mankind.
Herrscher of the "Void" is played with "devoid of all emotions and compassion". Because of that, she represents emptiness in people's hearts or a similar term of nothingness.
