The Hierophant (Type-B 05) is a secondary antagonist and the second boss in The House of the Dead 2. He is one of Caleb Goldman's creations from Dr. Roy Curien's research.
Biography[]
Background[]
After Curien’s death, Goldman use his geneticist to develop Hierophant and other creatures for the next 2 years. On February 26, 2000, Goldman releases the monster in Venice and Italy.
The House of the Dead 2[]
After James Taylor and Gary Stewart defeated Zeal and Kural, they meet up and agreed to meet Amy Crystal and Harry Harris at Sunset Bridge. While getting to Sunset Bridge, Hierophant is seen killing people on a live news helicopter.
Upon reaching the bridge or the docks, the agents are ambushed by Hierophant. After the fight, James and Gary defeated the creature and its corpse fell into the water, floating on the surface.
Later in Chapter 5: Dawn, James and Gary headed to the DBR headquarters. Hierophant appears and ambushed them. The creature is killed once more.
In the final chapter, The Emperor also used Hieroplant as one of its alternative forms during the final battle of the game.
