The High Priest is the main antagonist of Season 2 of the Dan the Man web series and its video game adaptation's Chicken God Event.
He is the ruthless cult leader of the Chicken God Cult and attempts to take out the Dan cult that the villagers are worshipping and summon the Chicken God.
Biography[]
As Dan becomes the new figure that the villager worship, instead of the Chicken God, one of the Chicken God Cult members (who was beaten up) goes to tell him about the situation. The High Priest then decides to then execute that member, but before he gets the chance, some other members tell him about the exact same thing, and the priest plans to overpower the Dan Cult.
He then orders his troops to then raid the village to kidnap all the Dan Cult's members, and bring them to him. However, as the members continue to raid the village, Dan steps in and fends all of them off. The High Priest is then notified about this by some remaining survivors, and becomes enraged. Then, he gets the idea to summon the Chicken God, taking one of the imprisoned villagers to sacrifice. Unbeknownst to him however, a nearby drone (controlled by The Guards) records his plans and shows it to Dan.
Later, he is seen worshipping the Chicken God and his desire to sacrifice the villager to summon it. He is then interrupted as Dan and the Guards start to intervene and fight against the members of his cult. The priest then continues, but is soon interrupted again by another member who recommends to not do it. This touches all of the members hearts, but the High Priest dismisses it, and instead orders that member to be executed instead. This change, allowed the villager a change to grab a nearby knife and stab the priest with, causing the blood to drip into a bowl and summon the Chicken God shortly after. As the members ran away, the priest, still injured started to worship the deity, only to be pecked to death. After the Chicken God was defeated and also killed, the High Priest's reign of terror finally came to a closure.
