The High Priest of Chaos is the main antagonist of the Chaos story in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies.

He is the founder of the ancient religious organization known as "The Order", he was sought to harness the knowledge and power of Prima Materia, which can gain immortality.

He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also voiced Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge, Goldar in the 2017 Power Rangers film, Tony Alpert in Battlefield: Hardline, Bane in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, Saren Arterius in Mass Effect, Poseidon in God of War (2005).

Biography[]

The Priest was born in some time before 500 B.C, he founded the Order after he was killed and revived by the Scepter of Ra, meanwhile this iteration of the Order had more members than the one that the Priest will reform in 1900s.

In order to find the access to the Library of the Nine and without putting himself and other followers in danger, the Priest used a colosseum in the Roman-occupied Egypt to complete the trial with enslaved gladiators as the test subjects, during some time in 500 B.C, a group of contestants managed to complete the test by defeating Fury and Wrath, the two guardians of the knowledge in the Library, one of them revealed the knowledge "Novum Ignotum", which dictated the Priest must grant them. After hearing the words, the Priest realized the contestants were not the ones he know, as they would not understand the texts, he had the rest beheaded despite their request for clemency.

Centuries after the trial completed, the Priest and other members became immortal. The Priest later rebounded The Order using a breakaway sect of the Rosicrucian Order with the purpose of uplifting humanity by doing the same as the previous order had, acquiring sentinel artifacts and gaining access to the library of the nine. A British adventurer and archeologist Alistair Rhodes soon learned of the Priest's order and began doing everything in his power work against them. Soon After, Alistair held a party within his mansion, inviting many people. However, The Order were able to infiltrate the party and one of the members of The Order killed Godfrey, Alistair's Butler and reviving him using the Scepter Of Ra. With Godfrey now unwillingly working with The Order, and also to set up the Trial of Danu. As Godfrey began writing runes around himself to begin The Trial of Danu, three other guests found their way to Godfrey as he began the Trial. As Godfrey and the three other guests completed the trial, whilst Godfrey killed the others and set fire to the Rhodes Estate, The daughter of Alistair, Scarlett Rhodes, made her way outside the manor, leading many Order cultists to their deaths. However, She managed to face the High Priest himself, but she managed to kill him. He stated that killing him would stop nothing, and that The Order's work would still continue.

It is known that the High Priest Of Chaos is killed along with The Order Cultists.
