Hinako Ninomiya (二ノ宮 ひな子, Ninomiya Hinako) is a supporting antagonist in Ranma ½, she is the English teacher of Furinkan High School and a strict disciplinarian who want to erradicate what she believes that is delinquency in the school.

She was voiced by Yumi Tōma in Japanese and by Janyse Jaud in English.

Biography

Hinako was a sick child admitted to the hospital when Happosai was stealing some nurses panties. Happosai altered her metabolism giving her the ability to absorb other people's energy and increase her physical age to a 20 years old adult, healing her sickness. However Happosai only did this to stop the nurses with Hinako's abilities and escape from there. Hinako was hired by Principal Kuno as the English teacher. She uses her abitities to impose discipline towars all that she believes that is a delinquent and uses her adult form to seduce and manipulate other students. Ranma is her principal target since he is capable to defend himself with his fighting abilities and Ranma, knowing the secret of her skills, tries to revert her adult form touching her pressure points for 30 days in a row and she will lose her abilities permanently. However Hinako has two pressure points in her back and tree in her chest, causing that Ranma will be percibed as a pervert if he does it. Hinako fell in love with Soun Tendo, Akane's father, causing Ranma and the Tendo sisters being against a possible marry between them. However, despite having similar fellings, Soun does not want to shake the memory of his deceased wife, however Hinako still tries in secret to force him to marry her.

Powers and abilities

Hinako is capable to absorb other people's energy while she is a child to grow up as an adult and increase her strength and later to release this energy in a powerful blast, causing her to return as a child. She can use this with coins of different value to absorb it with better effectiveness.
