Hiroto Mori is an antagonist from the manga series Choujin X. He and his partner Yubiko, alongside Chandra Hume from the Tower of Mourning, were sent by Noh Mask to kidnap Tokio Kurohara on Ojima Island.
Personality[]
Mori is a rather eccentric individual who adopts the mannerisms of a rockstar in combat, treating his fight against Yamato Mori and their allies as a kind of show he's putting on. That said, he also does express an amount of pragmatism, deciding to keep Momoma, Shadowl, and Roja occupied while the others deal with hunting Tokio. Mori is also shown to be very ruthless, being willing to use the deceased bodies of soldiers as cannon fodder. Mori is also implied to be a necrophile, as during the end of his battle, he considered subjecting Maiko Momoma and Roja Hachimaki to his "hobby" and imagined the two of them as corpses with a gleeful expression,
Biography[]
A notorious criminal from Nagamata prefecture, Mori was one of the three individuals sent by Noh Mask to kidnap the "beast of prophecy" Tokio Kurohara, the other two being Yubiko and Chandra Hume. Upon arriving, the three criminals split up, with Yubiko going after Azuma, Chandra going after Tokio and Simon, and Mori keeping Ely, Momoma, Shadowl, and Roja occupied with his skeletons. Shadowl manages to get a sneak attack in on Mori, but he uses raise and successfully fights him off. Partway through the battle, Roja is able to figure out that Mori is just trying to keep them occupied, sending Ely out to go assist the others.
Eventually, Mori is able to defeat Momoma, Roja, and Shadowl. Just then, however, Ichiiro Sato arrives on the island and proceeds to send disturbing images of God's vengeance to Mori's head, shattering the choujin's sanity and leaving him a nervous and neurotic wreck. Mori is then taken into custody by Yamato Mori. It is currently unknown if he managed to recover and break out over the timeskip.
