His Voice is an enigmatic and divine being serving as the main antagonist of the 2012 anime movie, 009:RE:Cyborg. It shares a mysterious connection with the angel skeletons seen throughout the movie.
History[]
Believing humanity to be corrupt and beyond redemption due to all the wars and violence it had caused, His Voice began "speaking" to several humans and influencing them into committing destructive terrorist bombings across the world. This soon caught the attention of several governments and their intelligence agencies, such as the CIA and MI6, as well as the 00 Cyborgs. His Voice managed to cover up these bombings by having the Samuel Capital and its respective child-companies transport away the wreckage. Through these bombings and the machinations of Samuel Capital, His Voice hoped to trigger a global war that would destroy humanity.
His Voice later influenced two U.S. Air Force personnel into taking a fighter plane and dropping a nuke on Dubai. Cyborgs 002 and 009 attempted to stop the bombing but were unable to stop the bombing in time.
His Voice eventually attempts to completely wipe out humanity by causing nuclear missiles to be fired from orbit. 003 manages to disable them by firing interceptors at them, save for one which manages to slip through. 009 has 001 teleport him to Earth's orbit so he can stop the missile. 002 attempts to assist Joe, but his rockets burn out and he begins falling towards the Earth. 009 then pleads to God to spare humanity, saying that while humanity can be foolish and cruel to each other, they also have the potential to go beyond that and asks that the Earth be spared. The nuke then detonates in space with Joe on top of it.
However, having heard Joe's words, His Voice spares Joe and reunites him with all his friends, the 00 Cyborgs in a world created by him.
