Hitman Mad Blast is a catfish-themed Londerz Prisoner and is the main antagonist in episode 5 of 2000 TV series called Mirai Sentai Timeranger. He is the mutant bounty hunter and was responsible for the murder of Yuuri's parents. He was recruited by Don Dolnero and tasked by his boss to destroy the Timerangers. Later he encountered Yuuri, the TimePink who desired to get revenge on the murderer of her family.

He was voiced by the late Kazunari Tanaka who later voiced a Freezer Org from 2001 TV series called Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger.

History

A catfish-like hitman who likes killing, taking items from his victims as mementos. Sealed for 15 years with not enough proof to confirm his crimes, he was the one who murdered Yuuri's family.

Mad Blast made his first appearance at the containment when Gien freed him. Besides since Don Dolnero forgot to pay him he can go wildly on a hitting spree.

Later that day during one of Lila's shopping spree she'd notice a bunch of present day civilians running in fright and wonders what the heck is going on turns out it was Mad Blast who is free from his containment. As this goes one of the civilians takes the shot and he stole a watch from it and unknowingly he'd opened fired on the Droids who were carrying the items that Lila bought. After that the Timeranger showed up ask him to come in quietly, but to his response he'd open fired on the team.

However when he scraped the spurs on his boot this triggers a flashback from Yuri as her family was murdered by the same criminal in the future (here's why check the item that he stole as a necklace). So with that said the enraged Yuri attacks Mad Blast. After she'd use her gun at a high level and she is about to eliminate Mad Blast, but thankfully Ayase averted the shot as it destroyed a pole. With that said Mad Blast makes a hasty retreat.

Later that day as reported by Sion he was at an amusement park attacking some civilians. Thankfully the enraged Yuuri arrived in the nick of time as she'd used the time flyer and open fire at Mad Blast and then pin him down to the ground with her gun sticking at Mad Blast's head. Thankfully he spilled the beans as he holds out a holographic projection of Don Dolnero as he was hired by him to eliminate Yuuri's family. Which surprisingly it was the truth that she wants to find out. After that she'd used her dual wield swords and deal some damage onto Mad Blast and got her father's bracelet back.

However Mad Blast isn't down for the count as he removed the seal patch that's been located on his left belly to enlarge himself prompting the team to bring out TimeRobo Beta and battle him. However they're weren't getting any closer onto Mad Blast so they form TimeJet Gamma for long range distance. After that they formed TimeRobo Alpha and recaptured Mad Blast with this finisher called Press Blizzard.

Personality

Hitman Mad Blast was a violent, selfish, ruthless and sadistic, but cowardly mutant mercenary, who will stop at nothing at his mission to destroy the Timerangers for his employer Don Dolnero. He proved to be highly sadistic and murderous, as he was the one who murdered Yuuri's parents and enjoyed killing people just for fun. However, despite his sadistic and psychopathic nature, he also proved to be truly a coward at heart, because when he was defeated by Yuuri, he cowardly pleaded for his life, before attacking her and continuing the battle. He also showed to be vengeful and hated to get payed for his services, since he betrayed Dolnero and refused to serve him, when Dolnero forgot to pay him for his services.

Powers and Abilities

• Enlarging: Like all other mutants, Mad Blast can enlarge himself by removing the chain of his mutant DNA.
• Superhuman Strength: Mad Blast possesses great physical strength enough to battle the Rangers.
• Skilled Fighter and Marksman: He is also a skilled fighter and marksman.

Arsenal

• Arm Vulcan Blaster: Fatcatfish has a powerful Vulcan blaster on his right arm to fire red-orange or yellow energy blasts in rapid succession.
