Hitomi Matsuda is a mute child who was experimented on by Toru Ayabe to become psychic and an antagonist in episode 4 of Tokusou Exceedraft.
She is portrayed by Shoko Imura.
Biography[]
Hitomi became mute and wheelchair-bound after witnessing a traumatizing event where her parents were killed by a criminal. She was taken in by Ayabe's research facility, where she was experimented on to be turned into a psychic, further traumatizing her. While alone, Hitomi would occasionally be visited by janitor Fumio Tsuyama, who would try to entertain her to make her laugh to no avail.
One day, Hitomi used her psychic powers to mind control Fumio into "kidnapping" her so she could escape the facility. As she and Fumio got away via car, they were pursued by Exceedraft and Hitomi controlled Fumio to throw flaming bottles at them to stop their chase. Hitomi had Fumio take her to a warehouse, but Ayabe and his men were able to track her there and went to recapture her. It was then that Exceedraft arrived, having been tracking Ayabe, and attempted to arrest him and save Hitomi. Hitomi believed they were there to take her back to him and used her psychic powers on them, but Kosaku was able to talk her down, getting her to stop using her psychic powers and to release Fumio from her hold. As Ayabe was arrested and Hitomi was brought to safety by Exceedraft, she spoke her first words since she had gone mute.
