Homer Simpson is the main antagonist of "Lout Break", the final segment of The Simpsons Halloween special episode "Treehouse of Horror XXXIV".
Biography[]
When Smithers instructs Homer not to, he tries to eat donuts in the Power Plant's turbine room. Homer is upset because the nation is turning into a "nanny state" and then drops one of his donuts, which rolls away. As he pursues the donut through the Power Plant, Homer finds it covered in dirt and radioactive waste. He eats the donut when he eventually catches up to it. The donut begins to alter Homer's DNA that evening. He goes to grab Ned's newspaper the following morning, and Ned carries it out for him. Ned feels sick after Homer burps in his face. Ned begins to feel worse later that day at church, and then he begins to change into someone who resembles Homer in both appearance and behavior. The others get infected when Ned burps into the church.
As the infection spreads throughout the village, everyone starts acting foolishly and lethargic. Since Bart, Lisa, and Maggie are Homer's children and are unaffected, Professor Frink takes them to assist in locating their father and halting the pandemic. They remember that he had dinner at Ray's House of Beaks the night before, therefore he would be in the restroom at Sudsy's Car Wash when they are unable to locate him at Moe's Tavern. since they arrive, Homer questions him about why he would want things to return to normal since, to him, the world had become a utopia. When Professor Frink later discloses that Marge has also contracted the virus, Homer finds her to be much more stunning than before. Professor Frink is about to order in a nuclear strike on Springfield until Homer unintentionally tears his protective suit with a backscratcher, resulting in Frink's infection as well. Then, with the sickness having spread over the world, the Homers all begin to sing "Just Like Paradise" as various locations are displayed with Homers having altered them.

Trivia[]
- While his actions—igniting an apocalypse, which while accidental, he shows no remorse for even as the countless casualties come to light from him and preferring everyone to remain transformed in an arguable Fate Worse than Death, making him a villain.
- Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Moe are the only characters who survived the Homer virus thanks to Bart, Lisa, and Maggie already having Homer's DNA inside them preventing them from the virus while Moe wore a mask to protect himself from turning into Homer.
- It is unknown whether Homer's parents or the professors behind the truck caught the virus though in which Professor Frink was infected on-screen, it is possible the other workers in the powerplant probably got infected off-screen, while Homer's parents have a 50/50 chance of being infected or not via having Homer's DNA but it's not confirmed only Homer's children are immune to the virus.
