| ~ Homer after having his inability to kill deactivated. |
Homer Simpson is the main protagonist of the Treehouse of Horror segment "Simpsons World" from Treehouse of Horror XXXIII.
He is an animatronic of Homer Simpson made for the titular amusement park who gets damaged and becomes aware, causing him to wanna escape. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta who also voices Homer in canon.
Appearance[]
This Homer looks exactly like the canon Homer. The only difference is the huge dent in his head, which he gets just before getting taken in for maintenance.
Biography[]
In an alternate reality where the Simpsons is a work of fiction, an amusement park called Simpsons World was created where fans could make themselves paint themselves yellow to look like the show and enjoy attractions based off of popular scenes from the show. In an attraction based on the episode "Marge vs. the Monorail", two teens decide to feed beer to the Homer animatronic of the attraction, causing him to bug out and the attraction to close.
While the maintenance crew get to work on fixing him, Homer reactivates and gets a hold of the pad that adjusts his behavior, sliding his self awareness all the way up. Upon doing so, Homer realizes he isn't even real as he notices his chest open and he lack genitalia. The two crew members then notice that Homer has reactivated and attempt to calm him down while making it clear they intend to wipe his brain. Homer at first panics and tries to get defensive, but the crew members aren't afraid as Homer's programming prevents him from intentionally harming them. With this, Homer prepares to submit to his fate only to trip and send some tools flying at the crew members, beheading them. Upon escaping, he activates robots of his family, one each, and grants them all self-awareness (slightly turning down Lisa's when she has a severe breakdown over being a robot). When Lisa suggests also getting a robot of Grandpa, Homer simply says there is no time before activating a trash compactor, crushing all of the Abe robots.
As the family makes their attempt to escape by pretending to still follow their entertainment programming by shouting catchphrases, some tourists interact with Homer to have him do the classic hedge meme. Bart then takes the tablet to disable their inability to kill, allowing Homer to throw the tourists into the hedge and kill them. The the park now on high alert, the family works on escaping before being surrounded by an army of Ralph security robots sent to subdue them. The family do their best to fight off the Ralphs, with Homer even killing a Maude, but they are outnumbered. Marge gets a hold of a car, allowing them to drive off while running over actual people in the process and vandalizing a statue of Matt Groening.
Believing themselves to finally be free, the family prepare to face the life of the real world, unaware that they have ended up in a Bob's Burgers themed amusement park.
