The Hope Cougars are a minor group of antagonists in the 2012 video game Hitman: Absolution.
Landon Metcalf and Mason McCready were both voiced by Daniel Bonjour, and Gavin LeBlond was voiced by Billy Lush. It's currently unknown as to who voiced Tyler Colvin and Luke Wheeley.
The Hope Cougars are all childhood friends of Lenny Dexter, the son of powerful weapons manufacturer Blake Dexter, consisting of Tyler Colvin, Landon Metcalf, Gavin LeBlond, Mason McCready, and Luke Wheeley who rule over the town of Hope with an iron fist. Because of Lenny's father's influence, even the police in the town of Hope do nothing to stop them from whatever they please, despite the citizens resentment towards them.
There used to be a seventh member of the Hope Cougars named Darian, but according to conversations with Lenny himself and the other Cougars, he allegedly somehow betrayed the group and as a punishment, either one of or all the other members beat Darian to death with baseball bats while Lenny watched horrified.
Hitman: Absolution[]
After Lenny kidnaps Victoria while Agent 47 was preoccupied with Edward Wade, Lenny takes her to the town of Hope where his gang resides. Once 47 tracks them down during the mission "Shaving Lenny", he concludes that he'll have to kill every member of Lenny's gang not only because they're protecting him and they kidnapped Victoria, but simply knowing about her is dangerous to the ICA since it'd be dangerous if street gangs were able to have the same abilities as the isotope gives her.
Agent 47 first deals with Tyler, Landon and Gavin during the section "Streets of Hope". There are several ways to deal with the three members, ranging from making all of their deaths look like accidents to getting on top of a roof and sniping them one by one, but once they're all dealt with Agent 47 moves onto the Barbershop to deal with Mason and Luke. Once Lenny is finally alone in the barber's chair however, he can then knock him out and carry him to Wade's stolen car. Agent 47 takes Lenny out to the desert and after learning that Sanchez is watching over Victoria at a warehouse south of Hope, he either kills Lenny or leaves him to the mercy of the desert.
Members[]
Tyler Colvin[]
The Group's second-in-command, Tyler is the the one who came up with the plan to sell Victoria to Stallion Armaments instead of Dexter Industries. After selling her, he would've then left Hope to live in California with his unnamed girlfriend. He's also the one who directly has a connection to Stallion Armaments, likely having a relative or a close friend in the company.
Landon Metcalf[]
Landon is one of the Hope Cougar's enforcers. He's a very impatient and dishonest man, not caring who he hurts to get what he wants from the people of Hope or anyone else. Because of this, the Dexter family usually go to him to get things done in Hope.
Gavin LeBlond[]
The Hope Cougar's personal driver, Gavin on the surface seems to be the most relaxed member of the gang, appearing usually calm, rationally thinking, and reserved. However, he has been known to panic underneath pressure and has a sadistic violent streak to his name. He also apparently isn't entirely convinced of Landon's attempts to have him follow along with their plan, personally being scared of Blake Dexter's power and influence.
Mason McCready[]
Besides being another enforcer for the gang, little is known about Mason. He's an impulsive and hot tempered man known for random outbursts of violence, but he's also a great cook, known for having won "Dexter's BBQ Dash" fives times in a row. He's also the most charismatic of the group, having excellent social skills compared to Lenny and the others.
Luke Wheeley[]
Being the most serious and meticulous member of the group, Luke is a very non-physical man, preferring to deal with situations stealthily much like Agent 47. Besides also being a pretty anxious person, little else is known about Luke.

Trivia[]
One of the members of the Hope Cougars is implied to have pedophilliac tendencies, evidenced by a picture of Victoria on a board of their plan to sell Victoria having the writing "I'd do her!" next to it, despite the fact that she's only 16 years old and every member is in their 20s or even 30s.
The youngest member of the group, Gavin, was only 22 years old at the time of his death. Meanwhile, Lenny was the oldest, being 34 years old at the time of his undetermined fate.
At least half members of the Hope Cougars seem to enjoy spending their time shooting targets at Hope's gun shop.
Tyler scored 366 points with an HX AP-15 assault rifle.
Landon scored 284 points with either an Aries 24-7 pistol or an Aries Charging Ram revolver.
Lenny scored 129 points with his custom Derringer.
