The Hordika Dragons are the villains that appear in the BIONICLE series. They are actually the prisoners of the Dark Hunters, who mutated them with the Hordika Venom, thus transforming them into lizard-like hybrids.
History[]
Some time ago, a group of Visorak stumbled upon the island of Odina, which was the base of the Dark Hunters. Then, they were captured by the Hunters and had their venom analyzed. Later, The Shadowed One tested the venom's properties on the selected prisoners, mutating them into the lizard-like mutants which were known as the Hordika Dragons.
The Shadowed One uses the Hordika Dragons to force his clients to abide by their deals, if for some reasons they attempt to withhold their payments.
Later when Makuta Teridax and Vakama infiltrated Odina who retrieve the Kanohi Vahi, the Hordika Dragons along with the other Drak Hunters were ordered to defend the island as they fought with the Rahkshi, who were summoned by Teridax.
When the Brotherhood of Makuta headed for Odina to destroy all the Dark Hunters, the Hordika Dragons along with the rest of the Hunters were forced to relocated to Xia.
Appearance[]
The Hordika Dragons are the lizard-like hybrids with the heads that resembled Matau's head and have red eyes. They also two pairs of sharp claws that glowed light blue as well as long tails. They also have claw-like feet and several green limbs as well as silver-colored bodies.
Personality[]
As the result of being exposed to the Hordika Venom, the Hordika Dragons have the animalistic and aggressive nature.
Powers & Abilities[]
The Hordika Dragon were known to rely on their strength, speed and tracking senses. Aside from those features, they also have the ability to control the power of electricity that flowed through their claws as they controlled them at will.
Trivia[]
- The Hordika Dragons were created by Austin Stoeffler, for the LEGO Magazine Dark Hunter Building Contest, and were given a storyline role and place in the book called BIONICLE: Dark Hunter, which was created by Greg Farshtey, the producer of the BIONICLE series.
