Hornsent is a supporting character in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. He is a member of the Hornsent, who became a follower of Miquella after his kind had been slaughtered by Marika and Messmer.
He is voiced by Jonathan Forbes.
Personality[]
Out of all the individuals that follow Miquella, Hornsent is the one that is considered least trustworthy, as he is driven purely by his desire for revenge, seeking to kill Marika and Messmer for their actions against his people. While he himself has no animosity against Miquella or his kind, he only sees him as an opportunity to get his revenge and has no real interest in supporting his cause. Nonetheless, he is willing to side with Miquella, only if to atone for the actions of his kind.
When he first meets the Tarnished, he has no interests in working with them and despises them for being blessed by the Grace. However, should the Tarnished continue to assist him in his quest, he gradually warms up to them and eventually considers them a comrade-in-arms, should he be summoned to battle against Messmer.
Should he succeed in killing Messmer, however, Hornsent becomes consumed by his desire for revenge, in which he falls under the delusion that anything in relation to Marika must be destroyed, including the Tarnished. As a result, he does not hesitate to betray you and will seek out to kill you the next time he encounters you.
