The hostile creatures, also known as biological lifeforms are the main antagonists of Regretevator.
They are a group of hostile entities that are aggressive towards those who they encounter, mostly being the elevator riders and the players. They come in various shapes and sizes and have different ways of trying to harm or kill. Many of the creatures do so seemingly to feed on them or kill for the sake of amusement.
Overview[]
In Regretevator, there are various creatures that inhabit the many floors that the elevator can go to. However, on some floors, many of the creatures are hostile towards players (and the elevator riders depending on whether or not a creature can hurt them). These creatures will function as enemies that the players need to avoid or risk death.
The Creatures may also have abilities unique to them that make survival difficult, such as high movement speed, dealing lethal amounts of damage, going through walls, etc. In some cases, players must try and make it to a safe area so they won't kill them.
In spectator mode, most creatures which are hostile will be labeled with a bright red nametag (though there are some exceptions).
List of members[]
- Buck: A bowling pin with a cat's face and a hat. They can be found on the button competition floor or in the Shopping Space. The player can take Buck with them and also pet them. They can also eat them to gain additional health, but doing so will also summon the follower.
- Clover: A creature which wanders the Backrooms floor. It chases after players by dashing into them. Multiple Clovers can also be found here.
- Döug: A gigantic creature with one eye and a large mouth. They can be found in Area 51 or the four corners floor. They charge towards players in an attempt to eat them.
- Enphoso: A spherical smiley face who runs a store. He doesn't hurt any of the players, but does invoke a threating aura. He is based on the same character from the Glaggleland phenomenon throughout the internet.
- Fafa: An orange that will obscure a player's vision with its face. Found on many floors.
- Fafa2: A 3-Dimensional variant of Fafa. It can appear inside the cardboard mansion behind one of the doors and bite players if they get to close to them. On rare occasions, it can also enter the elevator on the Gumball Machine floor.
- JamJam, BamBam, ScaryBlue, Minion, and JumboJoe: A group of five multicolored, giant, buff, humanoids. They can be found inside of Area 51. JamJam is found in the center of the facility, while the other four are guarding one of the generators on the left side of the base. They will attack anyone that is nearby.
- Jeremy: A smiling pink cube with a hand. They like to murder and kidnap people and keep them as damsels in his domain. He can also be found inside of Area 51.
- Jermbomination: A giant living Jerm Pop. It is found on the Jermpop Factory, wandering the grounds to attack anyone who goes near, but loses interest if evaded for too long.
- MR: An enigmatic force possessing a rock. It appears on rare occasion inside of Enphoso's shop and will be moved inside of the elevator by an individual known as "MRmaneuver". It will kill any of the elevator's riders (with some exceptions). Any character able to board the elevator will not enter if MR is present. It is also responsible for many events that happen on various floors such as the meteors at Happy Home Party.
- RATs: Rodents that roam the Random Maze floor. While they aren't hostile, they will poison players and drain their health if they touch them. One of the RATs may also enter the elevator.
- Red Boulder: A giant glowing Red Teddy that will roll through the Red Ball Temple after players obtain the Red Block. It is capable of instantly killing players if they touch it.
- Rockmen: Rock-like organisms that have faces resembling Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. They are capable of moving quickly and can deal lethal blows to players.
- Scary Mike: A humanoid that roams the Funny Maze to murder any player inside. It follows a set path and will kill players if they come in contact with them.
- SlimYim: A fleshy mass that resembles a jester. They seem to want to kill the players out of sadism and misanthropy by dropping GomBalls on the CRUMBL CUBE floor.
- Speeding Wall: A red wall with a face. Upon encountering it, the face will turn angry and as its name suggests, charges towards the players. It can be found in Elevator x5 and in Area 51.
- TARMITE: A steel wall found at the end of the Suspiciously Long Room. It will charge towards the elevator every ten to fifteen seconds, instantly killing any player that has not taken cover.
- The Follower: A shadowy figure that appears when a player eats Buck. It will slowly approach them and will instantly kill them if they touch it. It also appears at random during April Ghouls.
- Toothy and Toothette: Two balls made up of teeth and gums that try to kill players on the Tumblr Ballpit floor. They are imprisoned inside of cages until let out and make creaking noises. They also produce coins while moving.
- WilliamPlayz57: An entity that appears rarely. It is believed that they are a hacker. They are capable of causing random effects to the game ranging from creating objects to throwing snowballs and subspace tripmines.
April Ghouls[]
These creatures are found exclusively during April Ghouls (Regretevator's April Fools event).
- Banrey: A purple and green dinosaur. He won't harm any of the players but he will kill anyone else who enters the elevator by causing them to explode. Mach is apparently trying to hunt them down.
- Finger: Appears in the lobby. The player will be put into an Undertale themed boss fight where they can either fight or spare them. They have a resemblance to Gragh.
- FREAKs: Small purple humanoids which can be found a many floors. They are created from Freak Factories and will attack the nearest players in their vicinity.
Weaknesses[]
While strong, some creatures have specific weak points that players can take advantage of:
- Many of the creatures attack methods can be exploited so the creatures won't be able to get to players and kill them (eg. Clover, JamJam, Scary Mike).
- The Rockmen can be stunned if hit by snowballs. Additionally, they can be killed by foam darts, which can be bought from the shop space or obtained for free temporarily from a secret area in the Rock Park.
- The Speeding Wall and TARMITE while strong, can only move in two directions. They can't destroy other walls and players can avoid being crushed by them by hiding away in safe areas in the halls they inhabit.

Trivia[]
- Many of the creatures are references to various memes and internet/pop culture:
- Enphoso is based on the character in Glaggleland lore. They are described to be a dark force that wants to destroy Glaggleland, hence why they have a bright red nametag to show that they are dangerous, even though they don't do anything to harm players.
- Fafa is based on an AI generated image of the Annoying Orange.
- JamJam, BamBam, ScaryBlue, Minion, and JumboJoe are based on the "If X Had Roblox" (also known as "Guys, what one is your favorite?) internet meme. The meme itself features a kid scrolling through Roblox avatars resembling characters from mascot horror asking the viewers which one of them is their favorite.
- JamJam, BamBam and JumboJoe are based off of BanBan and Jumbo Josh from The Garten of BanBan.
- ScaryBlue is based off of Blue from Rainbow Friends.
- Minion is based off of the Minions from the Despicable Me franchise.
- The Red Boulder is a reference to the boulder from Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- Scary Mike is likely based off Slenderman, with the players having to avoid them while trying to find pages inside of the Funny Maze.
- Jermbomination is likely based on the Dwellers from Shipwrecked 64, having the same general method of surviving against and even being made by the creator of the original game, Squeaks D'Corgeh.
- The Speeding Wall and TARMITE are referencing the Roblox game Be Crushed by a Speeding Wall.
- The floor Toothy and Toothette inhabit is a reference to the Tumblr Dashcon convention and its ball pit.
- Banrey has an uncanny resemblance to Barney the Dinosaur.
- Specifically, Banrey is referencing the Barney statue from Story Glen's Children's Park in Scotland, a place known for having bootleg statues of iconic characters, with Barney being one of the most infamous. The statue has even become the center of many memes on the internet.
- If the elevator arrives to the OFFICE OF floor while MR or Banrey are inside, Mach will show up outside the door and kill them with her hammer.
- Despite only appearing in the April Ghouls update, many of the Elevator's riders will mention some of the exclusive creatures from the update.
- Mach will state that she is trying to hunt down the Banrey species.
- Fish will ask where Finger is.
- Banrey can appear briefly on some floors before disappearing.
- If MR is present in the elevator, most characters will have a unique reaction and won't board the elevator. DrRetro, Mach, and Jermbo will kill MR if the elevator arrives on a floor they can appear on and if they are going to enter.
- Only Jermbo and Mach will be alive when they kill MR, as DrRetro will die upon killing them.
