In the Regular Show episode Meat Your Maker, the Hot Dogs serve as the primary antagonists. These anthropomorphic sausages initially present themselves as eager participants in the park's barbecue, claiming it is their destiny to be consumed. However, this facade masks their true, malevolent intent: to exact revenge on the park workers for the consumption of their kind by capturing and attempting to eat them.
Biography[]
Meat Your Maker[]
During the park's annual barbecue, Mordecai and Rigby accidentally destroy a pack of premium hot dogs purchased by Benson. In an attempt to replace them without Benson's knowledge, they venture into the park's meat locker, where they discover a box of talking hot dogs. These hot dogs express a desire to be part of the barbecue, claiming it is their destiny to be eaten. However, this is a ruse; their true intention is to capture and consume the park workers as revenge for their fallen brethren. They manage to capture Mordecai, Benson, Pops, and Skips, intending to marinate and eat them. Rigby thwarts their plan by spraying mustard on one of the hot dogs, which causes the others to realize how delicious they taste with the condiment. This leads to a frenzy where the hot dogs cannibalize each other until none remain.
Exit 9B[]
The Hot Dogs, except for their leader, got revived by Garrett Bobby Ferguson, Jr. to join the army of evil that wanted revenge on the park workers. One of the hot dogs proclaimed, "These cowards die tonight!".
The Hot Dogs got sent back to the afterlife after Thomas signed the document that made the Park a historical landmark.
Appearance[]
The hot dogs resemble typical frankfurters but are anthropomorphized with limbs and faces. They have elongated, cylindrical bodies consistent with standard hot dogs, and their facial features are minimalistic, aligning with the show's simplistic animation style. Despite their benign appearance, they possess considerable strength, capable of overpowering larger characters.
Personality[]
Initially, the hot dogs present themselves as friendly and eager to fulfill their supposed destiny of being eaten at the barbecue. This facade masks their true vengeful and malevolent nature. They are deceitful, manipulating Mordecai and Rigby to gain access to the barbecue. Their actions reveal a hypocritical streak; while they seek revenge for their consumed brethren, they readily turn on each other when introduced to mustard, leading to their self-inflicted demise.
