|~ Miku Izayoi about the Producer|
The Hotshot TV Producer is an unseen antagonist in the Date A Live franchise. He is only mentioned in the light novel and in the anime adaptation by Miku Izayoi. His name is unknown, but he is presented as a Producer of a TV Channel. At first he seems like a simple TV Producer who would know Miku because he is interested in her, he soon reveals his true colors.
He will return in the 2019 short story on Dragon Magazine: Miku Scandal as the main antagonist alongside the entertainer reporters with malicious intentions.
He was only mentioned by Miku in both light novel and anime when Shido and Miku were going to save Tohka Yatogami in the DEM building. Miku joined forces with Shido to save Tohka from Deus.Ex.Machina Industries because she wanted to add the Spirit to her Spirit "collection" of sexual slaves.
When Shido asked to Miku why she hated men so much she said it was because of a TV Producer. Miku said that the producer was interested in her body, and her manager told to her to be "gentle" with him. The Producer tried to sexually entice Miku but refused to accept his advances and left the place. From that on, she never spoke with the producer again.
After that, the Producer, with the help of his reporters, spread degrading rumors about Miku; the news were so outrageous that Miku1s fans left her one by one. The fake news spread around Japan left Miku mentally broken. In a final attack, he indirecly caused Miku Izayoi to contract a disease that made her lose her voice, as well as her singing career. The attack was enough to drive Miku to suicide once she lost eveything. The Producer is also responsible for making her become a misandrist.
- He is known as one of the most hated characters in the series, along the lines of Isaac Ray Peram Westcott and Ellen Mira Mathers by the fact that he destroyed the life of Miku and brought her to the dark side.
- He was the only villain who did not appear in the anime.
