Hotspur Lupin is the main antagonist of the 2021 film, 100% Wolf and a recurring character of the animated series, 100% Wolf: Legend of the Moonstone and 100% Wolf: The Book Of Hath and the deutragonist of the animated sequel 200% Wolf.
Hotspur is a werewolf and the paternal uncle of Freddy Lupin.
Biography[]
100% Wolf[]
Hotspur lupin is a member of a pack of werewolves who aim to use their powers to project and save the humans, after the supposed death of his brother hotspur assumes the position of leader of the pack.
Six years later, all the werewolves gather to watch his nephew Freddy's transformation, but hotspur is not at all happy with the idea of being removed from his leadership position and claims that the boy does not have the strength to command the pack.
Upon hearing this, lady high tail remembers that hotspur was unable to recover the moonstone and the man explains that the ice cream man creep is equipped with the best werewolf detection equipment and everytime his gang approaches him they end up being attacked by toxic silver dust and tranquilizer darts.
Even so, lord hightail thanks him for his work, but says it's time to make way for Freddy to lead the pack, luckily for him, in the ritual Freddy doesn't turn into a werewolf but into a small poodle and that makes him very relieved because he continues in his leadership position.
He claims that the boy was cursed for losing the moonstone ring and lord hightail says that Freddy has until the next moonrise to become a real werewolf, otherwise he will be banished from the pack and another leader will be choose to replace him.
The next day hotspur is in his car having fun with the photos of captured dogs, when he is surprised by creep who after stealing a strand of his hair,the man is taken away from the vehicle and by chance while looking at the list of lost dogs, hotspur come across his nephew's photo.
When he arrives home, Hotspur meets penny and the housekeeper asks if he managed to find his lost nephew, the man then states that he didn't find him, but he knows that he will be that night to prove that he is worthy of being a leader of the pack.
Hotspur receives a call from the dog catcher commander saying that the machine that turns dogs into wigs is ready and that to carry out their wicked plan he's only need to push the red button.
That night lord hightail announces that Freddy won't show up for the ceremony, the pack is without a leader so the group will have to summon the spirits of the moon to choose a new one.
At that moment hotspur appears at the ceremony and claims that he found the lost moonstone ring, so he is worthy of taking on the role of the leader of the pack, he then turns into a wolf and is followed by the other members of his pack.
On his first day of reign, Hotspur presents the surprise has been preparing in recent months and shows the machine that will destroy all the dogs in the city and when hotspur is about to press the button, Freddy and his friends appear to stop him.
After that, his brother Flashheart appears and all his family are happy to see him, except his traitor brother, while the other wolves try to understand what is happening, Creep appears in his ice cream truck equipped with silver weapons and start shooting.
While the man is distracted, Hotspur takes the opportunity to attack him and ends up dropping the remote control that activates the wig-making machine Freddy quickly runs to catch it and managed to steal the remote control.
Upon realizing that his plan has failed, hotspur becomes furious and attacks Freddy, while trying to escape the boy accidentally free his cousins from the attic and manages to gain time to climb onto the roof, the problem is that his uncle continues to chase him and Freddy sees no choice but to transform, as he knows that in human form he would never defeat the enemy.
When he sees that his friends and family believe in him, the boy feels even more encouraged and when he's touched by the moonlight again, he transforms into a poodle despite his fragile appearance, Freddy discovers that he is as powerful as any other wolf and through his roar Freddy knocks hotspur off the roof.
At the end of the film, when the dogs become welcome at the lupin's mansion hotspur and his two wicked children start working as domestic servant as punishment for trying to kill Freddy and for trying to turn all the dogs of the town into wigs.

Personality[]
Hotspur lupin has an rude and arrogant personality since throughout the whole film he shows great pride in what he does and doesn't even care about other people's opinions, at some points in history, Hotspur proves to be a short-tempered and abusive person, since he doesn't accept losing for other people and gets hardened very easily.
In the animated series however, he acquires a passive aggressive personality, even thought he continues to want to prove himself he is the best, he does not seek to harm anyone, despite having redeemed himself, Hotspur still continues with his old villain characteristics.

As human
hotspur is a tall and fat man with combed back red hair and a combed up red beard,he also he has thick eyebrows and purple eyes.He wears a blue green suit,a red striped vest with yellow deatils,black leather shoes and a purple tie with red stripes.
As wolf
in his werewolf from,hotspur appears as robust and red-furred wolf with the same features as his human hair,his paws a little brown darker and he has a black,pointed snout.

- It's unknown why he's still apart of the pack in 200% Wolf, if everyone knows that he tried to kill his brother and nephew in the first movie.
