Houretsudou is the crab and kabuki-themed Majin of the Space Pirates Balban serving Budph and one of his elite Four Shoguns. He served as a minor antagonist in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman, serving as the main antagonist of the 21st episode.
He is voiced by Mitsuaki Hoshino who later voiced Sasamatage from Shinkenger and Adoborute-G of the Vital from Goseiger.

Past[]
Houretsudou joined the Balban three thousand years ago when they were formed by Captain Zahab to destroy planets for Daitanix to eat and turn into Planet Life Jewels. Serving under Budoh, he was successful in helping the Balban in thier mission but was sealed away with the rest of the Balban when the original Gingamen defeated Zahab on Earth and placed a seal over them.

In 1990, the seal over the Balban expires and they return to being active threats but are opposed by the new generation of Gingamen.
Houretsudou made his first appearance at the beach where he is searching for the Lights of Ginga which Budoh believes that these light might be in the tomatoes. However due to his monstrous appearance the civilians ran in fright. As his destructive search goes on the Gingaman arrived to stop this monster. So he used his staff and open fired at Hayate sending him into the ocean. After that he'd left the area to continue his search for the light. However if Hayate wants to completely recovered from his injured state he has to eat a tomato, but due to his pickiness he can't eat it, so they left him here at the beach until he's fully recover and assist Bull Black into finding the Ginga Light.
A while later Houretsudou appeared at a Tomato Center as he and a couple of Yartots began their raid as they search for the Lights of Ginga. However Gouki sneaked attack the pirate as the team arrived to stop Houretsudou search for the Lights of Ginga and as for Hayate he'd joined his comrades as they battle Houretsudou, but since he'd didn't ate the tomato Hayate is still injured as he fights Houretsudou through just his will power. However Houretsudou still manages to defeat GingaGreen, so GingaBlue takes him to see Suzuko while the others hold off Houretsudou. As this goes on Houretsudou spotted Gouki who's running towards the mountain and thought the Ginga Lights could be their so with that said Houretsudou follows Gouki towards the mountain as the rest of the Gingamen chased after him. However the injured Hayate blocked his path towards the mountain, but at least a couple of Yartots manage to reached the mountain. A while later the team were down for the count as Gouki hurried to deliver the tomato to Hayate, but one of the Yartots tackled him to the ground, but he shook the pirate off and then tossed the tomato towards Hayate. However due to Hayate's pickiness he'd began to hesitate, so his comrade holds off Hourestudou long enough for Hayate to eat the tomato.
Once Hayate ate the tomato he was finally healed from his injuries and as for Houretsudou he open fired on the tomato, but turns out the Ginga Lights weren't in any of the tomatoes at all. So with that said the Gingamen battles Houretsudou. After that he was then defeated by this finisher called Galactic Beast Blast. However Houretsudou wasn't going to give up that easily as he drank some of the Barba Extract to enlarge himself prompting the team to bring out Gingaioh and battle him. After that he was then destroyed by this finisher called Meteor Blast.
During the celebrations after the death of Daitanix, Hayate recalls beating down Houretsudou as the Gingamen recount thier adventures to Moak.
