Hoyt Fortenberry is a character and supporting antagonist on the popular HBO TV series True Blood. Though normally a protagonist character, he is shown to have an antagonistic side, as seen in his arc in Season Five with Jessica Hamby (his vampire love). He is good friends with supporting protagonist and main protagonist Sookie Stackhouse's brother, Jason Stackhouse, both seeing himself as a good person.
He was portrayed by Jim Parrack, who also played Kenny Linder in F9, Nick Munroe in Supernatural, Paul Mulford in Criminal Minds and Jonny Frost in Suicide Squad.
Personality[]
Throughout the series, his character development shifts from happy-go-lucky to a much more serious and emotional young man.
Skills[]
Hoyt is is quite strong, which is likely due to his athletic lifestyle in high school, and his strenuous professions of working on a road crew and an Alaskan oil-drilling ship. He is strong enough to knock out Jason Stackhouse with a single blow.
