Hugh Welsh is a character that appears in Grand Theft Auto V. Hugh is able to be picked as one of the heist crew members. Hugh is a film writer, aspiring actor and bank robber. Hugh is shown to be a friendly and compassionate person who cares about his heist crew members unlike Daryl Johns.

Backstory[]
Hugh Welsh is an aspring film writer who writes screenplays on his free time and also wanted to be an actor, even taking Impromtu lessons but ultimately this career didn't work out and he turned to a life of crime. Hugh was been doing heists for a long time and Lester even says that he is doing a few more scores before retiring his criminal history.
Grand Theft Auto V[]
The Bureau Raid[]
In the Covert option of the Bureau Raid, Hugh can die in the escape if he is paired up with a Good Gunman but he can survive this approach if he is paired up with a bad gunman like Norm Richards or Daryl Johns. In the Roof approach, He survives. If Hugh survives in the covert option, Hugh feels guilty about the death of Norm or Daryl and thinks he should died instead of them.
The Big Score[]
In the subtle approach, Hugh would drop some gold bars while loading the Gauntlet car with gold, losing $18,000,000 of the gold. In the Obvious approach, Hugh has no problems in this scenario.
Personality[]
Hugh Welsh is very quiet during the scores but is very friendly and kind to the heist crew members. Hugh isn't even made fun of when he survives by Michael unlike Norm or Daryl.
