Hunter Killer is a general of the Space Crime Organization Makuu and the secondary antagonist in the first half of Uchu Keiji Gavan.
He was portrayed by Michiro Iida, who also voiced Chang Kung-Fu Jr. in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya and Dark Knight and Adjutant Shiima in the Super Sentai series.
History[]
Hunter Killer was originally a Space Sheriff of the Galactic Union Police and the partner of Space Sheriff Voicer, the father of Gavan. However, Hunter Killer betrayed Voicer to Makuu in exchange for becoming Don Horror's right-hand man, leading Voicer to be captured by the Makuu and tortured.
Hunter Killer later accompanied Don Horror on the Makuu's attack on Earth. He was initially the one in charge of deploying BEM Kaiju and Doublers but after his continued failures to defeat Gavan, Don Horror summoned his son San Dorva to back up their efforts. Fearing San Dorva would replace him, Hunter Killer sought to sabotage San Dorva's efforts to defeat Gavan by sending Gavan a message through the Space Sheriff transmission system informing him of San Dorva's special attack. Because of this, Gavan was able to evade San Dorva's attack and fight him off. Afterwards, Hunter Killer believed his position was secure, but Witch Kiba was able to deduce what Hunter Killer had done after discovering he sent a Space Sheriff transmission. Thus, Hunter Killer was cast out into space by Don Horror.
Hunter Killer passed away after revealing Voicer's whereabouts.
Hunter Killer was later found floating through space by the Galactic Union Patrol and captured. During his interrogation, Hunter Killer revealed the location of Gavan's father Voicer before passing away.
