~ Kratos on Hvítserkr in his codex |
Hvítserkr the Bold is a minor antagonist in the 2022 video game God of War: Ragnarök. He is one of Hrólf Kraki's bersekers.
Biography[]
In life, Hvítserkr was a necromancer that aided King Hrólf Kraki in his various deeds.
Upon being summoned at his gravestone, he will attempt to kill Kratos and his companion, but will ultimately fail and be added to the souls of Skofnung.
Appearance[]
Like most berserkers in the game, Hvítserkr has skeletal bone marrow held in place with green magic, and is helmeted. His helmet has three faces, and he wears a cape of golden feathers.
Trivia[]
- His appearance is based on Hecate, who also had two faces on the side of their head.
- It is unknown if Kratos perhaps felt some nostalgia from his home world when seeing Hvítserkr for the first time, due to Hecate being of the Greek Pantheon.
