Hybrid Dragons are from the video game Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. They are featured in the game's Konquest mode. Hybrid Dragons have yet to make another appearance in the Mortal Kombat series.
Hybrid Dragons are a cross between dragons and humans. They possess the same DNA of Saurian life forms. The Hybrid Dragons were created by Daegon. He extracted the DNA from the Saurian life form of Reptile. Daegon then acquired the genetic material of his dragon guardian Caro. By combining Reptile's DNA and Caro's genetic material, Daegon was able to cross breed dragons with humans. He began engineering the creations within the Red Dragon Clan. Several of the clan's members were used as test subjects. All of the test subjects were originally human. They became humanoid and were dubbed as Hybrid Dragons. These creatures possessed red scales and heads that were similar to lizards. The Hybrid Dragons were able to spew greenish liquid at their enemies. The liquid burnt anything or anyone who were touched by it.
Daegon's older brother, Taven, discovered the existence of the Hybrid Dragons. He found them in Daegon's fortress on the charred mountains of Earthrealm. He stormed the fortress and freed Caro who was kept alive to produce Hybrid Dragons. Together, Taven and Caro killed the hybrids.
The crime lord Kano was imprisoned in the fortress. Daegon planned to transform Kano into a Dragon Hybrid. Kano was saved when Taven freed him. Kano immediately left the fortress while Taven and Caro killed all of the Hybrid Dragons.
