Hyde is an antagonist in Static Shock, only appearing in the episode "Static Shaq". Hyde led the group the Ruffpack consisting of Kangor and Ferret to rob a recording studio. Static arrives and locks Hyde and his group in a recording booth. Hyde sends Ferret to track Static to a hotel party hosted by Shaquille O'Neil. Hyde and his Ruffpack trashed the party and the police captured Ferret.
Hyde broke Ferret out of prison and continued their search for Static. Static with the help of Shaq defeated Hyde and turned him into a basketball.
