Hyde Gene is a DNA copying Precious Creature which arrived on Earth from space and the main antagonist of the movie GoGo Sentai Boukenger The Movie: The Greatest Precious.
In the guise of Muse, Hyde Gene lured various adventurers to his mountain promising the greatest Precious to whoever was the strongest and could reach him. In truth, Hyde Gene sought out the strongest adventurer to merge with to become the ultimate Precious, giving him the power to wipe out all life on the planet. It later transforms into a super mode called Stingross to battle the Boukengers in their mecha.
Hyde Gene is voiced by the late Shōzō Iizuka, who previously voiced the Super Sentai villains Iron Man Mask General Temujin, Commander-in-Chief Golden Mask, Satan Egos and Führer Hell Saturn, and who also voiced Hakaider in Kikaider, Doruge in Choujin Barom-1, Emperor Banba in Inazuman, Demon King Psycho in Space Sheriff Sharivan, Org Ninja Dokusai in Sekai Ninja Sen Jiraiya, High Priest Darom in Kamen Rider BLACK and Naval Commander Bosgun in Kamen Rider BLACK RX.
Biography[]
Hyde Gene landed on Earth long ago in an alien pod and was responsible for wiping out the dinosaurs before entering into a deep slumber. Upon awakening in the present, Hyde Gene disguised itself as a mysterious woman named Muse and gave a declaration announcing that whoever could climb its mountain and reach it would receive the ultimate Precious. The Gordom Civilization, Jaryuu Clan, Dark Shadow and Questers all mobilized to obtain the Precious, but the Boukengers fought them all off before going to recover the Precious themselves. After being separated from his teammates, Satoru Akashi was able to reach Muse's pod, at which point Muse revealed itself as Hyde Gene and attempted to merge with him to become the ultimate Precious. However, Satoru fought back and was saved by his father, before joining with his teammates to battle Hyde Gene. The Boukengers used their Combination Crash to destroy Hyde Gene, but Hyde Gene regenerated into Stingross, leading the Boukengers to summon their mecha to continue fighting it. Piloting DaiBouken and DaiTanken, the Boukengers destroyed Hyde Gene for good by hitting it with both an Adventure Drive and Bouken Flash.
