Hyouga is a member of the eastern branch of the Ashu Tribe and an antagonist in episode 17 of GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
He is voiced by Kenji Hamada, who also voiced Kuroari in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger and Southern King in Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.
Biography[]
Hyouga went with Furious Demon God Gai to steal the 100 Demons Mirror, which held various Ashu sealed within it. The two intervened in a fight between the Boukengers and Dark Shadow over the mirror, causing Gekkou of Illusions to recall both Yaiba of Darkness and Shizuka of the Wind as he deemed the Ashu too dangerous to fight. Although Eiji Takaoka ended up snatching the mirror, Gai and Hyouga were able to steal it from him and kidnap Natsuki, whose blood they used to unseal the Ashu inside. The first Ashu to emerge was Grand Beast Rei, the strongest and most wicked of their kind. Before any more Ashu could escape the mirror however Eiji destroyed it. After being fatally wounded by the Boukengers with Dual Crusher, Hyouga tore his skin open to grow giant and hold the Boukengers off while Gai and Rei escaped. Hyouga was then struck down by the Boukengers using Super DaiBouken and destroyed for good after the Boukengers formed Ultimate DaiBouken.
