The Hypnobrai is a tribe of Serpentine which is currently led by Skales and a recurring character faction in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

History

At some point, the Hypnobrai were created, along with the other tribes. Shortly after Lord Garmadon escaped the Underworld after Samukai's betrayal, his son, Lloyd, had freed the Hypnobrai and hypnotized the leader at the time, Slithraa. Eventually, Slithraa became a warrior and Skales became the leader of the Hypnobrai, resulting in Lloyd being told to leave, and never come back, later the Hypnobrai and the rest of the Serpentine had attempted to free the Great Devourer, although they succeeded, the Serpentine appeared to not be happy, as the Devourer also wished to destroy the Hypnobrai.

Shortly after the defeat of the Oni, the ancient tribe of Hypnobrai, the Pyro Vipers were resurrected after Aspheera was freed from the pyramid.
