Ibata is the contract holder for the Kamakiri Deadman and an antagonist in episode 2 of Kamen Rider Revice.
He is portrayed by Akinobu Shinoyama.
Biography[]
Ibata was the caddie for Araki, a professional golfer with a hot-headed temper. After Araki fired him in a fit of rage, Ibata was approached by Olteca. Olteca asked him about Araki's temper and offered him his sympathy, before showing him the Kamakiri Vistamp and persuading him to use it. Desiring revenge against Araki for firing him, the caddy accepted the Vistamp and used it to call forth his inner demon, which took shape as the Kamakiri Deadman. Ibata used the Deadman to attack Araki and get revenge on him, leading Fenix to quickly respond. Though the Deadman was destroyed by Revice, Vice told Araki the location of the Deadmans Base so he could go there and get his own Vistamp.
Araki then used the Megalodon Vistamp he received to called forth the Megalodon Deadman to use it to unleash his anger on Ibata and the other golfers. However, Ibata, having seen the error of his ways, stopped Araki from using his Vistamp and allowed Revice to destroy the Megalodon Deadman. Afterwards, Araki reconciled with Ibata and rehired him, and both were advised by Fenix to go to a special facility to get themselves examined for any after effects.
