The Ice Cream Truck is a minor antagonist in the Steven King film Maximum Overdrive.
History
The Ice Cream Truck was brought to life by a UFO along with almost every machine on the planet, including the Happy Toyz Truck, the Vending Machine and the M274 Mule. It first appeared when a kid named Deke Keller was riding through town on his bike and was chased by the truck until he hid in the bushes to escape, only to later be chased by a lawn mower. Later, two survivors named Brett Graham and Curtis see the Ice Cream Truck coming towards them and shoot it with machine guns until it explodes.
Trivia
- The Ice Cream Truck is the second to last machine to be destroyed in the film.
- Despite the fact that the Ice Cream Truck explodes, it is thrown out of the explosion completely intact.
